I love this, I’d love to visit Peru one day. It’s definitely been a mind shift eating all these amazing fruits this time of year- I’m just used to being cozied up in the states, so this has been very different, but am amazing. 🩷🥰

Oh wow. I wish I was there with you too!! My grandma was born in Brazil but I’m sad to say I have never been. My dad was from Trinidad, never been there either 😢. I grew up here in Portland. Thank you for sharing this amazing adventure with us!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aww really!?? Have you thought visiting? The great thing about rio is so many people speak English here, and truly everyone is so helpful. I WISH I could have brought you guys, that would have been so amazing! Maybe we can do a retreat one year, who knows. Also how is the weather? We heard about WA, we got out just in time. 🥹🥴
This was fun ,I so enjoyed your trip to the market . Just picking up bits and pieces about your connection to Brazil . This is a reason I love to follow people who are not from my part of the country. The flowers are breathtaking,I do know roses are imported from South America and I would assume most of our orchids to the USA. Panettone is from Italy, our grocery store here get some it every, even found at HOME GOODS. It’s a yeast cake . It’s always is amazing to me how much countries are alike in things. I have never traveled out of the USA,so I love seeing this . A friend went to Africa several years ago,I told him to send me pictures of flowers there .The hotel was gorgeous and he had bragged on the landscape,he did …..surprisingly most were GERANIUMS 😂🤣😂.How Blessed are you to go on this trip,I hope you have many more videos from there. Thanks 💚. 🍁🍂
Aww I love this!! I do feel blessed to be back, and it’s even more special because we are celebrating grandma and I get to be here with my brother and his family. I’m like you, I’m so fascinated with other parts of the world and what their landscapes and flower look like. I’m super excited to take you guys to the botanical garden, it’s pretty insane and FULL of wild life too. Also the Panettone, omg they are AMAZING. My grandma is actually Italian so I feel a big connection with Italy too. 🩷🥰
This was a great tour video. I felt like I was on vacation. LOL! I wish I was there with you, too. Did you say “cashews” at 3:40 as in the cashew nut…or is this the cashew apple? What do cashew apples taste like? Your Market tour showing food reminded me of our Pike Place Market in Seattle. The Dragon fruit I’ve tasted here in the PNW didn’t seem to have much of a flavor but I’m guessing the ones you pointed out at the Market there would be very tasty. Did you find out how those hanging plants in the flower market were growing with their roots hanging down without soil?
Awww Ann, I would have loved to take you all with me, it was beautiful! So the cashew fruit is the same as the nut. They use the fruit to eat and also juice, which is my favorite juice. The dragonfruit are very different when harvest ripe and fresh, they have a great flavor. Also I did ask about the orchids, I was so distracted lol. I’m wondering if they just pick up water from the air. There are orchids growing all over the city on tree trunks so I’m assuming it’s the same thing. 🥰🩷
Pretty much everything you showed us grows in Central Florida except dahlias but i am trying Fall dahlias. Come to Florida at Halloween and in Tampa you can come for Guavaween and see Moma Guava . I bet you can find guava like you like it there. I don’t like them at all but they grow here.
Really!?? Okay there was so much of it I cut out in the video because I wasn’t sure if you guys would like that or not. 😆 Now it’s noted and I won’t hold back. 🥰
Awe, Thank You for sharing Claudia ~ SO beautiful! Enjoy your time there 💞
Thank you friend, it’s been amazing so far. 🥰
