Brief video on Affixing and insight on how to Affix for end game. It's not exact cookie cutter, but it should provide you with enough info to get started on your journey to affixing.
Hopefully this sparks some ideas for some players on more information on affixing augments and not just the ones mentioned in the video
There are plenty of other augments that can be viable so hopefully this can show you how it works

Affixing has been by far the most confusing aspect of the game, this video really helps alot. Showing everything step by step instead of just hearing someone talk over gameplay made understanding so much easier
You broke down affixing, creating affixes from scratch and even how to use the Sim in one 21 Minute video that "Detailed guides" Couldn't even break down. Thank you so much for keepin it simple and to the point where I was able to even use the same method for a arks boost on a unit in a trail run.

I'm so happy you actually made this video because I have had a ton of questions on affixing thats not that obvious and seeing someone explain everything I had in mind while also showing it in gameplay was very helpful. I even learned a couple of new affixing tricks like having Noble Might in your inventory will make it show up even if its not what you're using.

An actually clear and concise video about how to use the affixing simulator. No other content creator has really told people to how you should be using the calculator and what order we should be thinking about affixing, just that you should use the simulator and practice with it which isn't very helpful. Thank you so much for a video that details goals and the methods to respond to those goals.

Number one rule of affixing is planning, once you have done planning then ask some veterans about their opinion then proceed on the making. Doing affix without planning is means a high chance of wasting money and resource and common mistakes could be made. There was a time when I wasted 100m cuz I made basic mistake smh, affix sim save lives

One request. How do people future proof thier stuff? How does one know what to I best into now to avoid wasting time later?

Yeah weapons +35 is the way to go, to get easy 100% transfers.
To be future proof honestly, is the weapon/unit choice that matters more than the augment.
Since if a new weapon/unit comes out you have to re-affix again.
Future proofing definitely is making cheaper affixes to save for later, but you can do what you want and get sweet damages by going crazy builds etc.
I made my brissa set while upsloting with 86-88% all 3 of them. :D
Glad it was on units actually, never would have learned about the same name bonus if it wasnt haha. Ive only affixed weapons. Went with 135 mel 6 pp on my cougar cause i could do it for like under 1.5 milish
Hey man great content as always, you got my sub. I see you have ray back and 2 other unit pieces you are using (dranphis and darilphis) are these last 2 unit pieces better than running a 2 set with ray? I'm running saiki atm on my braver but I wanna make sure I have something worth spending the meseta on before augmenting my units.
Saiki is top tier so all good. Ray units are good because it lets you attach Left rings on the units, but it's not working currently unfortunately.

Great video and great explanation on items. I still am completely confused on augmenting my weapon, you went a tad fast on those screens. Upslotting is no problem, but trying to get the abilities I need to show as available when augmenting is frustrating. I have the abilities on my fodder, and they have the same number of slots, but their abilities arent showing as an option when augmenting. I've watched 5 videos on this and I'm still confused. What an annoying end game process.

Does the % afix change for named weapons, or it does not matter as long as the weapons the same name for the afix bonus?

You can enhance sange to+35 for a free 100% flict Arma. It does need more than one to enhance. Check my links and try to find flict Arma more specifically the Google sites website might have the info of what boosts it
Still a little confuse T_T i know how to upslot but how do i prepare and like put the affix i want to the weapon. I have like 7s weapon saber that i upslot. but what now? i dont get or know what step should i do now.
My budget build is might iii, vol soul, stamina iii, might boost ( i got some random 4 slot might iii and stamina iii)

Nope you probably won't ever have to worry about dex unless it's from your mag

Yup everything goes onto your base unit or weapon and all the material is gone.

I have a question about affixing. Let's say you have a weapon with four things already on it, and you are wanting to transfer one more. When you go to transfer the new augment, do the four affixes stay there 100%? Or is everytime you go to upslot a wepon is there a new chance for all the augments you already had on there to break...
It was be at the percentage of only have 1 augment. So if you had a soul, it wouldn't show up until you got a second one on your fodder list. Hope this helps
damn i shouldve watched this video before I affixed my slave cannon. What about augments like mark anger? I heard those weren't tranferable.
Yup mark abilities cannot be transferred. This link sites.google.com/site/pso2db/home/enhancements/affixing can give some more info on other augments that can't be transferred.

If you use your old hear as a piece of material/fodder yes, the augments that go through go to your unit you want it to have and if it passes as well
I just want to confirm you can only transfer soul when you have the same number of slot? Since whenever I tried to affix soul never show up as an option.

You need more than one of the same Soul-type affix(excluding certain Souls iirc) or a Soul Receptor affix in the affix process to be able to transfer them.
can i ask, how much is that ray unit with that affix cost in the market now? ship2
Good question 12* units aren't tradeable so you can only get it with Weapon Badge 2s and get it from weapon badge shop

Never do a Glass build for units.. Stamina and Spirit must be included in units for end game content that's coming.. other then that great video

It's explained in the video, you need at least two pieces that have the Soul to transfer

Usually affixing your own. But if it's 12*units they are untradeable

Bought a phobos back armor for melee which has 387 def with 5 augments as +75 melee and plus 30 for defense for 200k...
I have something slightly more powerful but it needs augment
I messed up, I accidentally got rid of Might V from my Nemesis Cougar while adding Quartz Soul, I manually clicked on Might 1 at 100% not knowing it would downgrade it back from V F E E L S B A D
i wiped out all of my augments in my katana not knowing adding other augments will remove the existing augment of the katana F E E L S B A D
wow, i just swap shop all those good augments lol
Another advice to people: don't go to monica to grind or affix your weapon, she has shit probability. Go to dudu instead he's in odd number blocks

Don't bother affixing right now.
Spending 2-7m for affixing until August really isn't that.much. if you did dailies and weekly stuff you would have a lot of money still by then. It honestly isn't much. What I wouldn't recommend is affixing extremely expensive min max stuff
I would say definitely do some cheap affixing right now if you've never done it before. It can be really intimidating and getting to know better how it all works really helps to prepare for future content. And maybe learn what items with what affixes are worth more than 1050 meseta on the market.
