    I have had my Buisness now 43 years and what I have learnt is “ you can do anything “ stay positive and I will be watching. Most importantly stay healthy without your health you have nothing, all the best guys.

    I'm so stoked for you guys and everything you are doing. My fiance and I live over in California, and we also share the same dream. So inspiring to see another couple, that shares our love of sustainability and cycling out there doing it! This video was also hilarious with Bean tearing up the micro farm in the backround hahaha.

    I think that what you are doing is brilliant... We have started growing our own veg and are looking at getting chickens next year; but it would all have been pretty difficult while we were still living in London! Is pretty wonderful to have the space to do it.
    It really does make a difference to shop independent and / or local.
    Oh and great tune by the way... Just added it to my winter 2020 playlist.

    I'm excited to see you plant some veg! Seems like a really different set of challenges than raising animals and, selfishly, it's the aspect that I'm interested in doing myself, so I'd love to learn from watcing you.

    But seriously, definitely motivated to live a 100-mile diet when I lived in rural Canada. Only buying food grown/raised within a 100 mile radius

    For garden vegetables I'd look at stuff from Eliot colmen, has a few books, www.themodernhomestead.us/article/Home.html
    theurbanfarmer.co/
    And Joel salatin has a number of books for farming.
    Good luck and enjoy

    Okay. First time I’m wavering. Think it’s admirable that you’re trying, but as you say not everyone has the equity advantage.
    Sustainability of your food chain is one thing. But the world needs movement. Your products need delivering somehow.
    You don’t want oil based plastics to wrap your food or products, but you need them for vehicle tyres or other elastomers like water hoses and seals.

    • @bunbeard1332
      @bunbeard1332  4 роки тому +1

      Yupp excellent point. It’s why we only offer post office delivery. The postman is passing your door everyday as things stand so we try to piggy back that to make the most economical advantage of the journey already being made. Use oil and elastomers where we need them. To their best advantage, not in every single facet if we can work with an alternative 👊

    • @richcarter3603
      @richcarter3603 4 роки тому

      @@bunbeard1332 Okay. So the message is “use oil based products where you need them?”
      Which is why the sustainability challenge is so difficult. Because the term “need”.
      At present I need to use an aeroplane to get to work 4-5 times/year.
      A lot of people like to go on holiday or training camps that require long journeys. Could reasonably be described as a need. Others would see that differently (GB Duro organisers etc..)
      I’m going to go ahead and make the purchase from you as planned. I admire your business model, honesty and transparency. I hope the theme of the Vlogs doesn’t become a sustainability platform. (Realise I might not be popular for stating that).
