- After catching nothing but a 'Yakka' all morning, hooking up on these fish was a real treat. The second one genuinely gave me a tough time, a real test for the brand new rod. It feels GREAT to be in the fun season.

It's a happy event to be able to catch fish right away with a new rod😆
Very lucky to be able to catch the fish on the first outing! 😆👍
Хороший спиннинг ловит на первой рыбалке! © ☝️🤔
Great video! Very relaxing and calming video to watch!
Thank you! Means a lot 🤙
Good session bro, nice size for that spot there. Hopefully next one kings🤙
Good start to the season for sure, just need the kings to be hitting lures now 😆👊
Hi dude, great to see you get into a few Bonnie’s using yr new rod - Major Craft Crossride. Isn’t it exciting when you get that new golden piece of tackle and use it for the first time! Go well mate, hopefully only just the beginning.
Thank you for the kind words mate, it’s an incredible feeling and only going up from here! 👍
Hope to have those kind of rod mate. 😊 im a local angler in the Philippines. Im only using shadow for the win rod. For a year now
@@fernandojrpineda9894 Thank you for watching po 🙏 I was in The Philippines not long ago, I hope one day you will be able to get the rod you desire! Ingat po 🇵🇭
ive gotta find this ledge still never caught a bonnie and see videos all the time of people fishing this place haha good shit man love ya work !
Thanks bro! That means a lot. Keep going and you’ll get bonnies for sure 🙂
Go fish in avoca easy catch for bonies
Looks like a nice rod mate 🤙
I lost a big king there 10 years ago as I had no gaff. I have a 2 piece alloy one these days.
Thanks bro, heartbreaking losing a king at your feet 😓 Good to have the gaff on you 👍
Support for the channel!!!👍
Which location do you go fishing. Shore jigging is awesome. Loved it
Nice mate, good bream spot too
Thanks very much! Great spot all round hey
fish on bro,, nice fishing spot!
Nice session bro! I got the M version of thst rod, the hh must be super stiff!
Thanks bro! Yeah, the rod’s pretty tough! Perfect for lifting bigger sized fish up when I have my PE 3 reel back 😆
Nice vid, enjoyed that. Where's the fish measuring tape from? Best wishes
Thanks mate! If im honest i cant remember what shop I got it from but it’s called the Rapala RCD Roll Ruler 👍
@vxtedifishing Cheers
Nice video!!! QQ: the spec of the rod says the jig is 100±20g. How does it feel when casting 60g lure?
Thanks very much! 60g lures are very comfortable to cast with this rod. You start to notice the weight when casting 80g, haven’t tested anything heavier yet.
@@vxtedifishing Thanks for the response. Appreciated. I am a beginner in the jigging world. When a rod has spec 30g~120g for jigs, comparing to 80~120g, what’s the main difference in your opinion? Both say Max PE4.
@@jianguo8233 No worries! It sounds to me like the rod that has a 80-120g CW is meant for offshore applications, i.e. dropping the jigs vertically off the side of a boat. The 30-120g will be meant for land based fishing and should cast lures a lot further than the other rod will 🤙
Honestly, palamida(bonito) is most beautiful fish when you take her out with those color and stripes!😉
Such an amazing fish 👍
How many cameras are you using?
And where have you placed it cause it's really in a good position
@@RyzKaderx Just the one GoPro 🙂 I’ve got a neck mount rather than the chest mount. I find it gives a better angle and keeps clear of my hand (blocking the shot).
Nice video bro
Thanks bro! Means a lot
Since you are Australian, you should be able to get JDM things pretty easy??? Is it? Try Gekito Jig Strike, they are pretty good and the paint is OK!
There are some shops in Sydney that sell JDM gear, I might have to try the Gekito Strike Jig one day 😉
Интересные рыбалки. Подписался. 👍
Can I ask do you ever release fish ? I'm only asking because I'm only looking to watch fishing channels that catch and safely release.
Good catch. Where to buy those lures. TIA😅
@@jhayzmuzic1391 Thanks! If you’re in Sydney I recommend the shop isofishinglifestyle 🙂
@@vxtedifishing cheers. I'll check the shop. Thanks again.
very nice
Thanks so much!
how long were you there for ?
From about 6:10am - 8:30am, caught the fish all from about 7am onwards
@@vxtedifishing thanks, one thing that always put me off jigging is the physical effort of constant casting lolol , the fighting and landing of the fish was amazing to watch
@@foxbear87 100%, it can get pretty tiring hours on end - just makes the catches even more special though ✌️
Sensitive question but where is that? Don’t have to e exact just area ???
Avoca i guess
Looks like nth bondi
surely tell me this ledge theres nothin gin the harbour atm
where abouts is this spot?
4000 reel on HH rod…IDK, maybe consider 6000size?
@@kelsonzin My Saltist 6k was at Daiwa under warranty when recording this. Will be using the 6k here onwards 👍
