    Don't put words like this: two hours later. It's only 125cc. A motorcycle for commuting to work, school, for trips where you enjoy the ride. In which driving is not about driving as fast as possible and returning home, but about riding.
    I bought an MT-125 and immediately started taking driving tests to be able to buy a faster motorcycle. But I gave up. If I need to get there quickly, I have a car. The motorcycle is for trips on sunny days.
    However, your video is nice to watch because from the moment you leave the station your driving is energetic. Sometimes when I watch videos on UA-cam I can fall asleep :) Thanks for the video.

    I have one and my top speed was 135 (no gps) it's a comfortable bike and amazing for beginners and even medium trips ( i made 3 hours straight of trip on the little beast) the only con is the price, too expensive for a 125cc. Other than that i love my bike and the experiences that i've made with it. Have a good ride yall✌️

      Yeah those MT15's are a bit faster. Over here the A1 license goes up to 125cc and 15 hp. Would have beenbetter to have the MT15 over here but for the MT15 you will need the A2 license and no one with an A2 license will ride the MT15. At least not as main bike, perhaps as a second bike for in the city.

      It's the Derbi terra printed by malaguti. I had derbi terra for years, very good bike but was not a top quality, a lot of dangerous problems and in the end after I almost killed myself in the first because the chain was stuck, I had it scrapped. it had more than 40.000 km. it was more from the mechanic than from home. I know that today the engine is no longer the old Piaggio engine block and I have not tried it. the colors of Derbi Terra were beautiful, mine was black. those of the malaguti are obscene. if you want a quality bike I don't feel like advising you because it gave me great emotions. after derbi terra they made the Derbi terra adventure, today called Dune Adventure. my derbi terra was comfortable for traveling, it consumed little, top speed was 110 km / h. unfortunately it is the only motorcycle with that type of design on the market but if you can spend, considering that malaguti is no longer the Italian brand of the past, I recommend a honda, kawasaki or Yamaha. I know, they don't have that shape and are expensive but they are certainly vehicles with excellent technologies.

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  Рік тому +1

      De snelste A1 motor is elektrisch... maar dat is een beetje vals spelen, want daar kijken ze naar nominaal vermogen, niet top vermogen. Zo heb je ook de elektrische motorscooter BMW C Evolution. In de snelle stand trekt ie op als een 750cc motor in iets van 5 a 6 sec. De snelste A1 met brandstofmotor die ik zelf gereden heb is de Yamaha YZF-R125 in 11.7 sec; ua-cam.com/video/r6PVQ3g7rlo/v-deo.html Let wel: Het 2020+ blok is Euro5 en alle Euro5 motoren zijn langzamer dan Euro4, Euro4 is weer langzamer dan Euro3. Het moet allemaal schoner en dat gaat ten koste aan prestaties. Bij zwaardere motoren stoppen ze er gewoon wat cc's bij om aan hetzelfde vermogen te komen, bij 125cc kan dat wettelijk niet. Daar lees je niets over in motorbladen etc, maar ik constateer het toch echt.

      Ask the European Union. :) In a lot of countries people were able to ride 125cc 15 hp bikes with a car license. In some countries that is still possible, but otherwise you need to get your A1 license for that. The A1 license should have been 250cc and a max of 40 hp or so. But no, they decided 125cc/15hp. Probably to get more people in to a car instead of on a motorcycle. Next up is A2, up to 48 hp and no displacement restriction. So you can ride a 900cc with 48 hp restriction. Next to A2 is the A license where you can go full power.

    levensgevaarlijk als je als motorrijder AMPER voorbij komt aan een auto bij de invoegstrook... als motor zijnde zou je moeten kunnen uitwijken, dat betekend niet alleen links/recht of remmen, maar ook met gas geven, daarmee kan je meestal makkelijker uit een gevaarlijke situatie komen.
    situatie is 1:18
    hij komt hier amper voorbij die auto op de snelweg. deze motoren zijn niet gemaakt voor de snelweg. blijf gewoon lekker op N-wegen, en 80 wegen, daar zijn ze goed voor. snelweg is gewoon te gevaarlijk zo. je bent te kwetsbaar.

      @MotoSnax  3 роки тому +1

      Heb je ook in de linker spiegel gekeken hoe ver ik voor die auto kon invoegen? Daar was voldoende ruimte. Maar ik ben het met je eens dat A1 op de snelweg niet echt comfortabel is. Toch denken ze in Brussel dat A1 prima kan. Persoonlijk zou ik A1 liever zien met 250cc'ers, 4 takt, ongeacht vermogen. Dan filter je de 2 takt 250's met 70 pk er uit. Meer dan 35 pk is er meestal niet echt uit te halen of je moet grijze import 4 cilinders hebben met 250cc, maar die zijn zeer schaars. Laat die 125cc'ers maar lekker voor de automobilisten. Verder is de vraag of N-wegen veiliger zijn. Vaak heb je tegenliggers, terwijl op de snelweg iedereen één kant op gaat.

    Ride safe my friend. Nice bike. I rode with a friend of mine. He had a Chinese 125 and we had 600cc GSX-R's. 30 min in to a calm ride on the highway he's bike was smoking everywhere.

      A lot of junk is coming from China. Not everything though. There are also good engines and bikes, but you will pay more for that and during manufacturing better quality control. The junk stuff is a waste of energy and resources.

    I seems like it would be worth experimenting with sprocket size on this bike

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  4 роки тому

      I'd start with another exhaust so it can breathe better, after that you might want to check sprockets. But overall for the A1 license it is a fine bike.

    • @The77Game
      @The77Game 4 роки тому

      @@MotoSnax I must admit i don't know much about A1 bikes but if it is very restricted wouldn't you have to get a complete exhaust system? If so then that would probably be pretty expensive for a small bike.

    lol. When I started to ride, I got the old Motorcycle from my Dad. A Honda VT125, cruiser, and I managed to go 130 Km/h. I thought sport bikes are faster than cruisers xD

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  3 роки тому

      It depends on the license. These 125cc's are 4 stroke and have max 15 hp. Older 125cc's are 2 stroke and can have 30 hp or sometimes even more and can go up to 160-170 km/h.

    These are perfectly fine on the highway here in the USA, BUT on the freeways/interstates this bike would get you killed. Then again, the Honda Grom is a hot seller here and this bike is way nicer, so maybe there's a market for it....

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  2 роки тому

      it should be able to do interstates and freeways but in the slow lane.

    • @themystx2
      @themystx2 2 роки тому

      @@MotoSnax basically pinning top gear at redline, maybe. Some of our interstates have 70-75 mph speed limits, and it’s extremely rare to see anyone go below that speed even in the slow lane. Even the 300ccs don’t offer you much passing power at those speed limits.

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  2 роки тому

      Yeah it misses torque. You don't want to go on the interstates with just 125cc. Over here short stretches can be done but you just don't have the power to overtake anything. 300cc's get slow above 90 mph or so. Then it takes forever to overtake.

    Its just so expensive compared to fx Honda CBF125

    • @MotoSnax
      @MotoSnax  2 роки тому

      More expensive technique. MT-125 has a liquid cooled engine probably 2 valves extra, vva etc. Better compare the MT-125 to the CB125R.
