    Learn to make Indian Rice pudding in a crock pot . Some people also Cook it in a slow cooker or pressure cooker. This is a very easy recipe. It is also gluten free. Rice pudding or kheer is called Aroz Con Leche in Spanish.
    Ingredients:
    Whole Milk 8 cups
    Basmati Rice. 1/2 cup
    Sugar. 1/2 cup
    Coconut flakes. 1/4 cup
    Almonds. 1/4 cup
    Green Cardamoms 5
    Fennel seeds. 1 tsp
    Golden Raisins. 2 Tbsp
    Method :
    1. Pour the milk in the crockpot . Wash the rice in a strainer and to the milk . Cover it and let it cook for 6 hours on medium high heat . You may leave it overnight also . It will not burn .
    2. After 6 hours , add sugar , chopped almonds and coconut flakes.
    3. Remove the skin of the green cardamoms . Save it for your tea.
    4. Coarsely grind the fennel seeds with cardamom seeds. Add it to the Kheer .
    5. Let the Kheer cook for two more hours .
    6 Let the Kheer cool . Now add the raisins . Please add raisins after cooking the Kheer or pudding . Adding raisins early May curdle the milk and the whole dish will get spoilt .
    7. Enjoy the Kheer as it is or refrigerate for couple of hours and serve cold . It tastes delicious both the ways .
