    I will be 58 in a couple months. I am not is surf shape like I was when I was 18 but I can do more pushups. You just got to put in a little work every day and that is the key. I am in better physical shape than most guys I work with that are in their 20s.

    As a former athlete and runner well into my mid 30s, I had a medical crisis with black mold. After a month in the hospital in 1992/1993, massive steroids, and antibiotics, 5 inhalers, I have been on and off steroids for 30+ years! It literally changed the course of my life from healthy and vibrant to pain and deterioration. So not everything comes from being lazy and eating wrong! I was 5’11” and 125 before hospitalization and now I am 215 and 5’10”.

    Boron is actually THE most important mineral for bone health in my experience. My joint/bone/teeth and parathyroid issues eased dramatically within days. Shared this with family and now everyone is taking it and no longer needing any supplements for joint pain. Even my neighbours chronic arthritis is disappearing. Am no doctor, but this small, yet vital mineral (which our body cannot make so we HAVE to supplement) is a game changer for joint/bone health.

    No, people slow down when they get an problem/inflammation and the doctor makes you feel like a hypochondriac and everyone tells you to take painkillers. We need to focus on the greater population being taught proper form in whatever exercise they do and the health service focusing on keeping people fit instead of ignoring them until they have no choice than to be sedentary.

      So if you were extremely obese and weighed 400lbs you’d ingest 400gm protein per day? False…
      The idea is feeding the actual muscle mass that you have or want ignoring the fat weight. If that 400lb person would weigh 175 if they lost the fat then 400g protein would be a waste
      Look up Don Layman who’s a much better source of information on protein

    • @beyondfitrd
      @beyondfitrd 4 місяці тому

      It’s a precursor to a hormone. Two activation steps are required: The liver converts vitamin D to 25OHD. The kidney converts 25OHD to 1,25(OH)2D and 24,25(OH)2D. Other tissues contain these enzymes, but the liver is the main source for 25-hydroxylation, and the kidney is the main source for 1α-hydroxylation.

    Really leaving out the more normal case of aging and exercise: no matter how attentive to form you will eventually tear, break and/or wear down tendons and ligaments. Go run, hike, bike, climb for even 5/10 yrs and come back telling me you have no significant injury. I paddled thousands of miles as a 20-25 yr old with excellent training my whole childhood. I was a runner, mountain climber at altitudes above a mile for hundreds of thousands of miles. Rock climbing for a decade, slowly getting better each year. I ate and fueled myself properly long before UA-cam videos came along to make us more informed. I’m only 46. I can,however, state this: It is rare to find adults who are able to work, raise families and take proper care of one’s self throughout the decades. Like many I worked manual labor as my own self employed attempt at self care. That is to say, if you’re going to educate yourself via College and expect to find a fulfilling life you may be sorely disappointed. Be willing to work with your body as best you can. Just don’t expect to get the results just because you did everything right for yourself. Life will life on you. Injuries are not the end of you physical health but the idea that you make it through your 30’s without a compromise in well being due to injury is unrealistic.

    False not EVERYONE is low in Vit D. Inuits spent most of their life in low UV conditions yet they had adequate Vit D levels. It’s contributed to eating fatty animals. So ideally would be to eat animal based to maintain Vit D levels versus a supplement. Supplement IF you can’t raise it with the proper diet. It should be part of a normal blood panel test but they don’t 🤷🏼‍♂️

    You really need to interview someone outside of centralized medicine on the topic of quantum biology. You are missing so much regarding health and how it relates to physics. Your topics seem to be stuck in biochemistry and food and trust me there is a lot more to the equationthan food
    At 230 you can really tell just how little this lady knows about the topic. You ask her the question can you grow new bone? She pauses and answers yes and then goes onto explain in very vague terms bone density. If she knew what she was talking about she would answer the question completely different. She would explain to you that bone is the only part of the human body that fully regenerates. Then she would tell you about the Pizio electric current that exists in human bone and how it affects this process of regeneration. Her answer about vitamin D is equally pathetic, the most effective way to increase your vitamin D is to get exposure to UV light, via sunlight. Yes, you can supplement vitamin D exogenously, but when you do this, it down regulates the bodies ability to make its own vitamin D, just like humans have done for millennia. Anyone that prescribes exogenous supplementation without explaining how are bodies adapted to do all these processes doesn’t know what the hell they’re talking about and they’re just another in the machine of centralized medicine.

    • @ctb1977

      What would be the difference between getting vitamin D from fish vs supplements? Both are exogenous

    • @danfox8819
      @danfox8819 3 місяці тому

      @@ctb1977 that’s not the point I’m making. The way we evolved to create vitamin D is through UV light exposure on our skin. When the UV strikes our skin and penetrates into the blood, it’s sulfates cholesterol into vitamin D. Basic idea is, you don’t need to supplement or even ingest vitamin D exogenously, because our biology is set up to make it. Whenever you try to raise your vitamin D level exogenously, you will inevitably down regulate the mechanisms that I described.

    • @ctb1977
      @ctb1977 3 місяці тому +1

      @danfox8819 yeah I got your point. But in many regions of the world the natural diet would include a lot of exogenous vitamin D. So my question is, is exogenous vitamin D and down regulated production a bad thing? Will our endogenous vitamin D production kick right back in as soon as the exogenous vitamin D stops, kinda like creatine, you can take creatine for decades and your natural production will start right up again when you stop creatine supplements no problem

    • @danfox8819
      @danfox8819 3 місяці тому

      @@ctb1977 I think that the human body knows how to deal with any excess of macronutrient and associated compounds. of course many times the side effects can be negative. From the lens of our evolutionary biology, it makes more sense to respect the natural processes that are biology has adapted to and has specific mechanisms for. The fact that UV light creates vitamin D is just one small example of so many other things that UV light does in our biology. I think that most people think that we get the overwhelming majority of our energy from food, when in reality our biology is adapted to utilizing the majority of our energy from non-food sources. So, we get stuck in the thinking that food is the primary driver ofbiology.

    • @danfox8819
      @danfox8819 3 місяці тому

      @@ctb1977 I think the biology will take care of any excess nutrient, sometimes with a negative effect, but viewing this idea through evolutionary biology, there is a reason that we developed the ability to create vitamin d from UV light. Also, there are other biological functions associated with this light exposure, so it makes sense to utilize this pathway rather then messing with supplements. One thing that many people don’t realize is that humans can utilize more energy production from sources other than food, so when you think that it’s only about the food, you will always be looking for a biological solution there.
