    Thank you for sharing your exact recipe and procedure. I followed few Kaya recipes before this video, yours is authentic, the outcome is amazing! No lies, not missing something. Finally, I didn't waste ingredients, time and effort, I'm so happy with my Kaya.

      这个蛮随意哦,越多的斑斓叶会越香,但也需要比较多的水才能在料理机打得动。但是水越多,就需要越多时间煮至你要的浓稠度,所以建议水越少越好哦。

    Does it taste too sweet? Can I cut down the sugar?

      Yes, you may lower the sugar level according to your preference. Personally I don’t think the recipe is very sweet.

    Just came across your recipe. Look easy to make, I'll try today.
    There is an error about the amount of sugar. In the video you said it's 20g palm sugar, but in the description box below it's written 60g palm sugar. Please advice. Thank you.

      Thanks Kellie, yes that was an error. I have amended it, it should be 20g palm sugar and 60g white sugar 😊

      @@LeisureCuisine oh, I couldn't wait for your reply, so I made two batches, each from different measurements, both turns out good. So I guess not much different. Thank you for your reply.
      Very yummy. It taste better when you spread the bread with butter and kaya.👍😋

      Maybe you need to take extra care when u mix with the egg yolks, make sure you don’t overheat the egg yolks

      You can cook longer if u prefer thicker texture ;). But some hainan kaya really has this kind of texture.

      海南式的加央都是比较水的哦;)
