I remember when the idea of XCX coming to Switch was just a hope and a prayer...and now, it's coming in less than 3 months, as a definitive edition! What a time to be alive!
I'm still having a hard time believing it myself. We all begged for this game to come to Switch for so very long, it just doesn't seem real. When it does release, It will consume a massive chunk of my Spring lol.
Im so jealous of the first time players of the difinitive edition of xenoblade x, they get the best version of the game to start off. I remember struggling to understand over drive, getting lost, and not knowing how to get more money to buy skells for my whole party. It was really tough back then 2015👀
As a huge fan of the Xenoblade franchise, I can personally confirm everything he's said about this game. You are perfectly safe playing this one if you haven't played or finished the mainline Xenoblade games. There is a slight chance that the extra content connects it more to the other games, but I highly doubt it.
the X in the games title isn't referencing its number in the series chronological order its the name of the main protagonist Cross not Ten as in the original Wii-U version the default name was Cross now its Ryan for some reason i have no idea what that is about tho but the Origin of the X was to reference Cross there is a rumour of it being in the Tenth Era of technology for the Xenoblade Universe but that is a unconfirmed rumor at this point

I remember using the original follow ball during those Skell unlock tests. The reclaimer test was just a matter of locating a missing piece. I was directly above it in Noctilum but decided to test the follow ball’s accuracy. It took me on a 10 minute detour around the continent. Hopefully the new follow ball does a better job with tracking. It was generally reliable if your target was at a similar elevation. But beware it does not like cliffs or drop offs and will take the long way around.
Glad you mentioned the online play. That's easily one of my favorite parts about the game and I'm hoping they expand it. Not just with multiplayer-exclusive bosses, but maybe also the division and squad system. The sense of community I got from my playthroughs of this game made the experience feel truly grand and epic, just like the planet itself. Combined with the exploration, character customization, and the overall theme of survival and cooperation, this is easily my favorite game in the series, hands down.
Just pre ordered this. Can't wait to check it out. I've never played it and just started playing the first Xenoblade. About 25hrs in. Grinding lots to level up
I just beat Future Redeemed and certain this was addressed, but I was paying attention to the radio where MAtthew and the party were in Origin's memories of Klaus' past, the scene where Matthew was talking to his sister. I put a few lines to hide spoilers. on the radio in the background while Matthew and his sister talk, the news lady can be heard on the radio, where she says, "The Icarus is the eighth intersteller colony ship dispatched as part of Project Exodus, bringing the total number of colonists set out to the stars to 3 million. The Coalition government plans to send out ships 9 t 13 in the course of this year."" In the iintro to Xenoblade X, Lin says in the openiing narrative, "The Coalition goverment knew the war was coming; in response, they prepared the Earthlife Colonization Project -- Project Exodus."
My question is if I pre-order this game on Best Buy am I still going to get the pre-order bonuses and is there going to be a special edition for this in the United States?

I would like it to have a true multiplayer online option were your friends can play in story mode with you your friends can play on missions with you making it so no matter what part of the game you're playing your friends can play with you no online limitations and I also like it so the game specifically has its own personal party chat where you can talk to people and also an option where you can select same language that way you end up getting people that speak English and understand you so when you pick the same language and make friends with them they all speak English and I'd rather play my friends online then pick their stupid avatars and cost me a fortune I would rather have my actual Friends Play me the game like a lot of what you can get out of Xenoverse 2 of Dragon Ball

Yeah playing friends online would be nice because that whole Quest related to that bomber type Quest collector's plushie versions of crabs man that Quest was a pain in the butt never complete the plushie crab Quest from the bomber guy was threatening to destroy the city in a sub-story mission to get a certain swimsuit
Except for the lack of other alien races to customize as in your only stuck as human customization choices of male and female the customization limitation is similar to Xenoverse 2 for what you can do for a male and female character belts cuz even Dragon Ball Xenoverse games didn't even have a boob slider
The reason why I like the idea of super switch look at how much the Super Nintendo was an improvement over the regular Nintendo cuz when you think about a switch 3 it's not much of a step up in technological resources it's more like the difference between Game Boy and Game Boy Color that's why the idea of a switch 2😂

While Newcomers could play Xenoblade Chronicles X, i think, they should start with Xenoblade Chronicles DE first. The storytelling in XC 1 is just the best and it hooks you.

The mechs suck in this game. It was my most hyped for feature 10 years ago but became a massive game crushing disappointment. Not only will it take 20 hours to get to where you can unlock them in the game, so you've probably seen most of the map by then. But even when you do get them, they don't really do anything. You don't suddenly feel overpowered in one. The battle system doesn't really change much at all. There isn't even a scale advantage... so a teeny tiny higher-leveled creature will still mess you up in or out of a skell. In fact, the camera pulls way back so you look smaller onscreen than just being on foot. They are really just there to look cool in the cutscenes. And then there's the nonsense about insurance...uuggg.
First of all, you're exposing your lack of skill with the game's combat. Secondly, the Skells did give a sense of empowerment not just with higher combat potential, but with exploration potential as well. If you chose to go everywhere on the map before getting a Skell to make it easier, that's on you. There are even places you can only reach with a Skell or the flight upgrade. Thirdly, you can adjust the camera distance and height if you want to feel big on the screen. None of your complaints are accurate to the actual game.

A super switch is better because just like the Super Nintendo was compared to the Nintendo and how Game Boy Advance was compared to Game Boy Philippe and Bounds in technology that was and also by being backwards compatible super switch it would give some of the switch games a chance to be upgraded and feel more like next-gen games that was some of the games that had bad loading time will load much better on the new Switch it'll give companies on the super switch a chance to fix some of the games maybe make it so that Arkham Knights Batmobile will run better on the super switch thinking patch it properly and make it run more smoothly causing the Batman games to look much better of the ones you bought on switch because look at Xenoverse 2 it was originally on Xbox One then they upgraded it to Xbox One X then they upgraded it to Xbox series X recently so what did you do the same thing with the super switch all are switch games retail or digital downloads can be upgraded to Super switch versions making it so we don't have to re-buy our games again would be a nice upgrade patch feature cuz a lot of companies like to do that to save fans money
