    I would wager there is a crazy amount of old dodges driving around with random pieces in the oil pan haha. Glad it nothing too serious!

    Valve seals at the same time?

      Yes it would be a good idea since you have it apart to put them in

    Did you notice a difference in exhaust or engine tone after springs were installed? Particularly when going thru the rpms .

    Glad you got it sorted. Doing HD push rods while you're in there?

      Yeah man, love good Cummins content. 👍
      What about them aren't you sure about, if I may ask?

      Monster RAM I was thinking of have them be my week link instead of a bent valve stem

      I really don't think you're going to bend a valve stem. Is this common? I've never heard of that happening but I'm not intimately familiar with the 24v 5.9.

    How do you keep valves in one place from moving down or turning?

    • @ChadMyers73
      @ChadMyers73  5 років тому

      repairvehicle do you mean so they don’t fall down in the cylinder?

      Bring each cylinder to top dead center. My last 3 videos on my channel is about changing your valve springs. Check them out man hope this helps.

      What chad said , n with a lil prayer 🙏. You can do two cylinders at a time but #6 will test your patience like none other. Finally I set my phone up with camera flipped so I could see as my keeper kept coming out as I released my compression tool.

    Do you have to run air to valves?? Similar to a 12v? Im looking to do 95pd on my 01 any help is a appreciateed

      If you mean put air in the cylinder to hold the valves up I didn’t. Just rotate the engine and do each cylinder when it’s at top dead center
