This achievement deserves to be in a prominent museum in a glass box with your name on a brass plate for all to see. You have done what many have tried to do throughout history but failed. If I was you I would feel extremely proud and fulfilled as an inventor. Well Done Sir!! To me this serves as a benchmark for all, and a basis of solid evidence that further such inventions can move forward and improve and be inspired from this.

Nice piece of work. Looks like something from the late 18th or early 19 the century, AND IT WORKS!
Being that it appears to gain momentum and speeds up a bit, try connecting something to it. If it drives the mechanism or even a simple pulley or fan or something of that nature, you have free energy. Even if it's minimal, it would still be operating. Give it a try.

It makes sense to me to have the stator magnet weak because the wheel acts as a flywheel, passing it easily through inertia but at the same time, got just enough push to reach the next attraction zone to continue movement. So yeah, it needs a good tuning before able to work. As an alternative I suggest using more space instead of weakening a magnet by heat.

I think the little magnet varies a few degrees maybe 20 ° .... that makes it able to attract and repel I suppose ... but if instead of that little magnet you place a small rotor of synchronized magnets so you would have 360 ° in rotation ... maybe it works calibrated by a conveyor belt or belt attached to the major axis ....

Now take This exact design and compact it with strong yet smaller magnets. Relay some of the energy coming from the wheel to make the smaller magnet spin faster in sequence with all of the repelling magnets making a timed full rotation. Needed for higher velocity and power production. Could actually be made extremely small and put in everyday devices. Your brilliant as I found this when I came to an extremely similar idea with same effect. The rotation of the stationary magnet is crucial though. The reality of this experiment is far more than 'Can it produce Free Energy' but can it utilize the elements we have in an optimal way. Can we use gravity with permanent magnetism and have it sustain movement in a repetitive cycle. This experiment says YES. When man invented the wheel it was most simple but where has it come? Never underestimate the power of simplicity. In a nutshell it shows that their is a potential difference between gravity and magnetism and it is a door that has been opened for whoever wants to go in, and in the light of where we are today it needs to be entered. Maybe one day this little unit will be behind glass in a museum, it deserves it, and a note on it will say, from it's humble beginning here it all started!!

The question is not weather you can enough useful energy but weather you have hidden source of energy that you don't show. If you are not cheating and your device rally run days and months and you must stop it even after that, than your device is an example of a violation of the law of conservation of energy. If that is true then for sure it is possible to make much

If the wheel is balanced carefully, for example as shown, there will be a semi-effecr on ether side, and a kick every 180 degrees. Many of the problems are presumed unavoidable but the principle is interesting (and addictive).

I saw your "Why it seems impossible" comments. These sort of things are easily overcome by large scale, high-precision engineering. Think about the complexity of a modern car engine compared with the wooden creation you made. By no means do I want to "lower" your invention or creation to any lower standard then the truly great thing it is, I am rather trying to put it in the right context, shine the right light, and ultimately lift your "I believe this can be done" mood to a much higher level then where it is currently.
If you compare such a car engine, CAD (Computer) designed, high-precision, made with specialist robots, etc. then it should be easy to see how any creation can be built using a similar method (requiring time, investment, etc.) and end up with a much more optimized solution. Surely such an engineered device can better a wooden creation, even if in and by itself such a wooden creation is perhaps the greatest thing in free energy yet... ?! Again, not trying to minimize your fantastic invention, rather trying to place it into the right context of where you are at and where this could go.
Even if you did not create over-unity (yet) - but perhaps you did (is the speed of the wheel increasing slightly over time? Measure rounds per minute between point x and point y where point y is days or weeks later) - if you just created "full stable in equals out" then you have a perpetual machine, and that in itself would be SUPER. Don't give up too easily, but you likely want to get other people onboard (if you're entrepreneurial) or just sell this creation to someone who knows what they are doing, like the guy from the channel " MotionMagnetics " on UA-cam. You could also launch a project on one of the go-fund-me sites or similar. Or you could simply donate it to him (the guy from MotionMagnetics, whom I am not affiliated with btw, I just like his work), or to someone else you trust to take it serious, research it, develop it etc. You could also create a patent etc. The choice is truly yours!

It will move much better WITHOUT magnets. Magnets cause additional energy loss. The best construction for these type of "motors" - just a disc on the axis, without additional magnets or another mechanisms. This construction in video have an electric motor on the axis and a battery that is hidden somewhere. The second law of thermodynamics says that there are no perpetual motion machines. Magnets will only worsen the system.

Seems to be pretty unlikely. Mechanical things tend to have friction. Which is difficult to overcome, without some sort of energy input. Many point to the waterwheel that is run by gravity, if you stand back a bit. But if you stand back even further, one might become aware that the water that flows downhill, got to the point of being uphill through evaporation via the Sun. From the onscreen written comments, it is disclosed that one might make the smaller magnet 'weaker' or 'stronger,' which begs the question of how that might be done? Perhaps through a coil and a battery. With the little setup about half of the way up on the side of the wheel? Regardless, the apparent prop is beautify made.

You got the magnet repelling up against gravity , have it repelling down , and to cancel a magnetic field you must use a small piece of iron in-between the space where attraction is the greatest and you can eliminate that cam action clicking , there are no moving parts except for the wheel itself ,
And use ceramic bearings , they have less friction and steel

@@perpetuummobile5068 I love your work and craftsmanship, btw. But wild perpetual motion claims are fun, as long as they are just for entertainment purposes. The construction shown at 1:22 shows two square holes on top of the proposed propulsion magnet assembly (stator?). As a maker myself, those square holes were not strictly needed as a drilled hole on the side with a brass tube alone is sufficient for a pivot on the "set" (or is it "reset") wire activated by the passing rotor magnet. What hidden mechanisms are accessible from those holes? I have a gas station toy solar model of flowers waving back and forth that uses a similar technique to trigger a hidden coil in the base. A finely balanced wheel with precision low friction bearing could conceivably run for months this way on a small button battery hidden amongst layers of plywood. As I said, I love your work, including this one, keep it up.

Hello Oldskool driver. I now understand what you mean and I am sorry that I made those holes . Nor were they necessary. They were created because the up and down rotating shaft in the brass tube had to be axially secured. The ash came out every time. I was able to secure the shaft through the hole. It only became 2 holes because the first attempt failed. When I built this construction I didn't know it would be so successful on youtube. I now regret not applying an invisible solution. Thank you for your attention. There is no point in recovering afterwards because the film is already on the internet.

This is an overbalanced gravity wheel using magnets to create the overbalance effect. The wheel is divided into two halves. The half with the small magnet makes the large magnets on that side of the wheel "lighter" than the magnets on the opposite side. So the other half of the wheel is "heavier" and gravity pulls that side of the wheel down. A second mechanism placed exactly opposite the first one, but with the small magnet flipped, would make that side of the wheel even "heavier", thus increasing the effect.
You are on the right track. If you made one of these machines as tall as a windmill, you would be able to generate useable electricity from it. I challenge you to make a bigger wheel that will turn a tiny generator that will light a single LED. This will prove that you can generate electricity from this system.
And here is a tip to make it even more powerful: make the rim of the wheel as heavy as possible. This will turn it into a flywheel and give you more power to turn an electric generator.

I was just watching a video about magnets and had a very similar revelation, surely this could be used to generate energy. As far as I'm aware, the magnetic force will never become less efficient, and the metals will not fade either. Why has nobody done this on a much larger scale as a viable, free and theoretically unlimited energy supply?. I know resistance needed to generate the energy would be an issue, but on a massive scale it shouldn't be much of an issue. Even suspending the wheel using more magnets at the centre will mean no resistance or wearing of bearings. It's crazy but it must be a viable option.

What you have done is monumental actually because it can show that this in fact CAN be done and once it is done and made then it can be improved over time.
