For everyone who thinks it's a fake, let me tell you that this motor principle works. If you move the position of the inner weights, the motor will stop working.

He is giving you the principle. The key is having the one magnet flat, and the other is 45 degrees. There is only one place the wheel will not turn. It is where the transition occurs from the pulling to the pushing. i never got this way to work for me, but I got close. I got it to work another way. Congratulations on getting it to work.
So it’s able to flip because the magnetic field is weaker in the middle, if thats the case the wheel also feels that same amount of drag as the big magnet centers over the small magnet, so that alone doesn’t explain this to work. You also claim the magnetic null point allows it to work, but going from 0 to 100 is still energy used, just faster and more aggressively. You never explain why going from a ‘null point’ to repulsive mode, or attractive mode to a null point, are exceptions to this law.

I too working on a replica. So far I can verify the magnetic action, even without using ring magnets, instead attach 4 bar magnets as a cross. Hopefully I can get a result very soon...
It works or it does not. Which one? Spinning unassisted for two minutes isn't working. Spinning continuously for weeks is.
@@Graeme_Lastname I think different. The way it's turning matters. Does it accelerate by itself (even after a slight push) to a designated speed or can it only keep speed. In the first case it's clear there's self sustaining action and then no long time test is necessary.

In your video the fliper magnet returns very very fast in the starting pozition. In my setup the magnet desnt return to his initial position very fast. It wants to stay in the second ""stroke"" until the next magnet comes close. My opinion is that here is the ""key"" to this toy. Please tell us the weight of the rotating wheel with magnets . Why is the weight of the large wheel with the 4 ring magnets important?. The small magnet returns to its starting position by the weight of the lever that also determines the stroke. I weakened the small magnet by heating it. If the small magnet is too strong it will not turn and may not turn back. That could also be the cause.

I realize the time and effort it takes to build a finely tuned machine like this. Could you raise the whole thing up above the base so there is a much larger gap between the magnets on the wheel and the base?
He has a video, the one that started it all, where he does all you ask and more. Even disassembled it because people were skeptical about there being something secretly powering it. No special coil with batteries can be hidden in it.

He could have embedded the electronics in the base, and covered them with a veneer. You wouldn't be able to tell. I'm not saying that's what is going on. I'm saying that it is more likely than a permanent magnet motor given the evidence provided.
@@Leo99929 the wooden board is too flat and I've seen that guy's videos trying to disprove it. His first design using just two magnets are to be disqualified as anything, he needs four magnets. And even when he makes one with four, he states that yeah, the more he moves into making a replica, it may soon just run on the magnets by itself. Despite it all, unless he make it like the one in this video. It is not disproving anything. For people are sure of a battery and coil secret assembly, then by all means, make it yourselves and figure out where they are supposedly, possibly, hidden. Lazy bums who claim themselves experts with no proof.

There is no proof here, and the proof you've vaguely suggested exists, turns out not to. Or you just don't understand what is being asked?
If you'd built these, you'd know the number of magnets is almost arbitrary as long as they balance. More magnets make the torque smoother/more consistent, and have the potential to keep it spinning if the magnetic field doesn't extend far enough to interact with the magnets due to their seperation. Smaller fly wheel means fewer magnets required. Bigger fly wheel means more magnets. Adding more magnets adds weight that makes it run for longer like a fly wheel. That's a great con, but this isn't presented as a fly wheel, it's presented as a permenant magnet motor.
The only conclusive evidence, would be the actual unit itself, as any recreation is by definition not the device and that can be used to explain why. That is why I have asked the creator to make these simple and easy modifications. The fact they haven't done them, or responded, speaks volumes.
The chat about "it took a while to get it working" is a technique used by con artists to explain why others recreations don't replicate the results. It only serves to waste peoples time.

I don't think the point is to give it a load necessarily. What I'd do is have the magnets excite coils to take advantage of the energy in the environment through back EMF by having a quick ON OFF through a transistor. All you really need is a continuous rotor and if you use air coils then there is no drag back on the magnets, especially if you fix the circuit so that the back EMF can give a little kick to the magnet on it's way out away from the coil.

the coils without drag back are only open coils (and obviously not kick away nothing), when you close the circuit trougth a load the coil drags back the magnets
Alas, the force generated by these coils will be very meager and will not be able to push a magnet even 100 times smaller than this one.

I think that I understand you question. In the first place there is a big mistake in the powerpoint from the momentthat the pictute is moving . the little magnet is in wrong position. The problem is that I cannot change the film in youtube._I also think that there are moments during the passing of the small magnet that work contra productive. @@perpetuummobile5068 That is what I can verify at the moment: there're negative torque while the stator magnet is passed. But it's all about the right timing to trigger the lever for turning the stator magnet.

Tell me, do you know of a nonmagnetic metal (aluminum, copper, etc) that can cover or say cancel a magnetic field on one side of a magnet without affect the other side?
Dear Sosa To my knowledge, there is no non-machnetic material that can cover a magnetic field. This is also called :shielding: and is something like the holy grail for magnet motor designers. If you find such a material, you can immediately collect the Nobel Prize for physics. Magnetic fields that come close to each other always influence each other. So if you want to influence a magnetic field, it is best to use a magnet or magnetic material such as soft iron.
@@perpetuummobile5068 I would of thought a copper coding on the surface of one side of a magnet would help at least weaken the magnetic field on the side covered. Thus allowing the remaining side to be used to propel whatever mechanism one is creating. I am currently working on my own design and it has yielded interesting results. Recently a change in a center piece holding magnets cancelled the magnetic fields for a big portion of the the circle it is in holding magnets. Also found if you carefully break a coin neodymium magnet in half without separating the two and put a ceramic magnet sandwiched with a neodymium magnet in the center will cause the broken one (which I recommend you hold it together with copper wiring before they do separate) to cause it to spin.

I was wondering if I may have your permission to use a similar design to you magnet lever design that rotates the wheel. After watching your explanations and even going as far as taking it apart to show there is no battery or a power source that supposedly cause it to move. After understanding how it works it may help in my creation as I'm attempting to create an eternal battery, rather than a magnetic motor.

Perhaps the small rotating magnet is so weak that it undergoes reverse magnetization under the magnetic field of the large magnet on the wheel when the two magnets are closest to each other? Then there is probably no resistance to rotating the small magnet in the field of the large magnet. As the magnets move away from each other, the field of the small magnet returns to its normal polarity and interacts with the magnet on the wheel to drive the wheel.
One would have to try with a very weak rotating magnet placed close to the wheel.

So I just scrolled through all the videos on magnetic motors and could not find the best one I ever seen like 13 or so years ago it was vary simple it was small disk magnets around a philly cream cheese lid attached to a little dc motor with tooth pics for legs like a tripod and it wasn't totally vertical but at an angle and dude held a bigger square magnet if I remember right and he held it at a 35 or 45 degree angle and it spun real fast. I think the key to a self runner is the potential difference in the fields, the angle, timing, and avoiding lens law friction. I know these so called laws are bullshit lies to keep us needy to the government/corporations for our survival and they only teach half ass physics in school and keep people dumb down this whole year has proved that vary well with all the people fearing and fighting each other over an invisible boogie man its like 9/11 on a world scale and we are told to give up personal freedom for a false sense of security, 2021 will be much worse if we bow to stupidity of the herd and except what we are told by the gods of the diplomas I say they can go fuck themselves because from what I learned here on this platform from you and other freethinkers and tinkers and inventors that I have come across in my study's about electricity from 1700s to now we should be in flying houses that power themself but we are forced to buy gas and buy the oil waste they put in the food and fake medicine that kill people so the rich stay rich and the rest of us go the way of the doo doo bird but that will only happen if we let it and no real progress will be made by us common folk if we just accept these laws intended to keep us down and people have been shut up, killed and imprisoned for violating these laws of physics you know if you seen the video race to zero point, its still on here surprisingly if you haven't watched it. The plywood base is hiding a power source.
Everyone who watches your videos (including me) would like to believe that you've succeeded where centuries of inventors have failed. Not to mention, that all the physics books would need to be rewritten. But, I can't take your machine seriously as long as it has that thick, laminated wood base, because it's the perfect place to hide an electromagnet, a circuit board, and some batteries. It wouldn't be difficult to replace that base with a transparent one and silence a lot of skeptics. But, you're unwilling to do that, so I think you're having a big laugh at all the folks who believe in you.

The machine shown on the website is impressive looking, and it's obvious that some investor (or group of investors), with a big pot of money, believes in the project. I'm not going to dismiss this invention on the basis of the Laws of Thermodynamics, because I think it may be possible to produce a machine, based on some new principle, which can run for long periods of time, while drawing energy from some source we have yet to discover. Consider that an atomic energy power plant would have looked like a "free energy" machine at the time of the Civil War. Now that we understand the physics of atomic energy, we can see that atomic power plants break none of the laws of Thermodynamics. Assuming that the Earth Engine can produce and sustain "over unity" power output for a period of years, while doing useful work, then everyone on this planet will know about and use this invention before the end of this decade. But, that's a big assumption for me, because as Carl Sagan said, "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence". So, while this machine looks promising, I have to withhold judgement until more detailed information is provided by the inventors. If pressed to guess how it works right now, I'd have say big flywheels make me skeptical, because they store energy. So, I'd guess that energy stored in the flywheel is keeping the machine running. If the initial push that started the flywheel rotating came from an external source, and if the flywheel is gradually slowing down, then this is nothing new and what we have is a hoax. This machine has the potential for being either the greatest invention in human history, or one of the slickest scams in history. One problem I have when it comes to believing in this device is the fact that the machine shown in the video is so large, that it's impossible to determine if a source of input power is connected to the device somewhere. For that reason, I can only evaluate the claims made for the invention by examining the explanation of how it works that was given by the narrator in the video and from reading the information provided on the Earth Engine website. From reading the website, it appears that two principles are at work, the first is an asymmetrical magnet array and the second is the "Slingshot Effect", which NASA has used successfully to give a boost to exploration spacecraft. Regarding asymmetrical magnet arrays, a linear Halbach array does have a strong side and a weak side. One can imagine that an array like this this might be useful in an over unity magnetic motor, but no details are given about how the asymmetrical magnets are used, so that information is not very useful at this time. As for the "slingshot effect", that doesn't produce any energy by itself, it only transfers energy from one system to another system, so that principle alone can't contribute any energy to the device if the attraction of gravity is replaced by magnetic attraction in the device. It's true that gravity assistance from a planet can be used to accelerate a spacecraft; but, the assist is provided by the motion of the planet traveling around the sun, using the planet's gravity to pull on the spacecraft and thereby to accelerate the spacecraft. To put it another way, to increase speed, the spacecraft acquires some of the planet's orbital energy as the spacecraft flies near the planet. Gravity is not supplying the energy that accelerates the spacecraft, gravity only acts like the straps of a slingshot to pull the spacecraft along with the planet, using up a tiny bit of the planets velocity as it orbits the sun. This is why it's called the "slingshot effect". If the machine in the video is making use of the slingshot effect, then it's only using the slingshot effect and magnets to transfer rotational energy stored in the main flywheel to another wheel that's attached to the shaft of the generator. In that case, all the power produced by the generator is supplied by energy stored in the large flywheel and that energy came from some external source, perhaps an electric motor that was used to spin up the flywheel and was then removed. If this machine turns out to be all that it's claimed to be, then I'll be delighted to eat my words, because the world's energy problems will have been solved, not to mention the problem of global warming. I sincerely hope this is true, but I'm not going to hold my breath. NOTE: I'm talking about an original slingshot with leather straps, not to be confused with the elastic straps of what some people call a slingshot today. The original slingshot uses energy from a man's arm to spin a rock around on two straps; releasing one strap causes the rock to go flying off in the direction of the target.

Exactly. There are only two plausible possibilities with this machine: Either it's a scam, or it slows down but very slowly. The longest video is only a few minutes, and it may slow down after 15 minutes, or whatever, but it will slow down eventually.

The INFINITY SAV is an interesting machine, they are taking pre-orders for a home sized generator, which is a red flag to me, because that's a common way scams raise money. The old trick is to raise a lot of cash on pre-orders and then disappear before the facts hit the fan. This doesn't mean it's a scam, but I'd rather see a product that's ready to ship with a money back written guarantee. Also, I see what I believe is a flaw in the the way counter EMF is supposedly neutralized in the INFINITY SAV machine and since that's key to the operation of the device, I'd love to comment on it, or discuss it. However, this is Perpetuum's youtube video and I've already bent the rules by commenting at length on the unrelated Earth Link machine. The GAIA project (your other link) has a machine that looks like it's ready to ship, but it could be nothing but a nice looking case with nothing in it. Unlike the machines in your other links, GAIA gives no explanation for how their machine works, so there is basically nothing I can say for it or against it. I don't see how you can research it, unless the GAIA Project is more forth coming with you about how it works than they are on their website.
@@nobulistic I'm a 78 year old retired electronics engineer, so we have something in common. Unlike you, I've spent my entire life thinking about how to build working, over-unity magnetic motors. I got interested in this subject when I was around eight years old. By the time I was nine or ten, I had three ideas on paper that I was sure would work. By the time I was twelve, I had built one of my designs and discovered (as so many others have) that spirals of magnets have a "sticky point" in the rotation that prevent spirals and ramps from working. During my teens, twenties and thirties I was interested in other things. In my forties through my sixties, I worked so hard and such long hours that there was no time or energy left over to work on the magnetic motor project. I did a few experiments after I retired on idea number three, but I have never tried to build it. As far as I can tell, my third idea (from age nine) is unique and has never occurred to anyone else. As for your other interest, UFOs, I'm very skeptical that they they are extra terrestrial in origin. The Roswell crash makes me laugh, because I can't imagine that creatures with the technology to travel all the way across the universe are such bad drivers that they would crash when they got here.
