Mandela wasn't imprisioned in Rhode Island, he was imprisioned on Robben Island (an island off the coast of Cape Town)
Lol, I knew that couldn't be right 😂
And this, children, is why we check sources
I was just happy that my state got some representation 🤣
was going to comment this
He also had numerous affairs. Not a trustworthy man at all.
Einstein did NOT discover the photoelectric effect. It was Hertz.
Einstein won the prize for his explanation on how it happens
Thats how nobel prizes works. Specially to Those who can explain how things works. Same such as Theoretical Physics
@@Foldersprd I believe same case happened with bing bang ? the ones who proved it got the prize rather than those theorized it ? It was on big bang show I am not exactly sure
I would say Alexander Fleming has to be the most revolutionary one out of all of these. Without him, the human population would be potentially plummeting.
I would agree but I'm also Scottish so I may be biased
Ironically that would’ve been a good thing for earth due to all the destructive effects human has on the planet
@@vowxiyThe Earth is temporary, Humanity has the potential to be forever
@@ASlickNamedPimpback Looking at how old the earh is and how young humanity, I suspect it will be the other way round.
@@irasan77 The Earth has existed for 4.54 billion years. It will be swallowed by the sun when it is 12.1 billion years old. It cannot move, it cannot escape this fate, nothing it can do will change that. In its 4.54 billion years of existence, it has essentially done nothing, with the sole exception of developing life.
Humanity has existed for 300,000 years. 12,000 years ago, we invented agriculture. 4,500 years ago, we invented bronze, a millennium after that we invented steel, followed by our first taste in "explosive" chemistry with the invention of gunpowder a thousand years back, then the first steam engines 300 years ago, the first locomotives 200 years following, the invention of powered flight a century past, then harnessing the power of the ATOM forty years after that, and then men on the moon twenty years after, and so on and so forth with increasingly smaller thinking machines with the ability to actually think now with these recent AI advances. This has all been achieved, at a near exponential rate, within a fraction of a fraction of the Earth's existence.
But, when that fateful day comes, when the Earth is swallowed by the Sun, nothing will stop us from being able to simply leave far before that ever has the chance to threaten our existence here in this universe.
You're gonna do a list of Nobel prize winners without Fritz Haber? He's the only reason why the vast majority of people are alive today.
He’s a Nazi
He is in the history books as the one who killed millions and saved billions
Omg Mandela was imprisoned on ROBBEN Island, near Cape Town South Africa. Not in RHODE ISLAND IN THE USA 😂😂😂😂 Bruh
This is indeed a very very sorry mistake.
I think I saw enough of 'the evaluator' and his/hers/its research
People really still pretend like Mother Theresa was a good person, huh?
Yeah, she wasn't
@@koriw1701 WDYM?
@@Mochi_boba174 She refused to give suffering patients painkillers because she believed the pain would bring them closer to Jesus
Just for the record:
- It's Marie Skłodowska-Curie. I know, it's hard, but she preferred her surname in this form
- She was Polish, not French. Just like Chopin was Polish (even that he technically is half-Polish, half-French he thought of himself as Polish)
I did not know that, thank you!
Mother Theresa refused to give pain killers to patients because she believed the pain made them closer to Jesus.
She also intentionally kept people in poverty for that whole suffering is holy mentality
thats uhhhm
uhhhhhh *ahem*
thats kewl i guesssssss
This is fucked up.
She said that the suffering of the poor was necessary and beautiful. She alsp forcefully baptised non-Christians as they died.
Wtf 😮
Nicolae Paulescu born in the year 1869 was the first to discover insulin in 1916. Due to the start of the first world war, all scientific research programs were halted. Paulescu proceeded to publish his work on insulin in 1921,after the first world war had ended and a year prior to Frederick Banting and John McLeod's discovery.
Paulescu had only used an unpurified pancreatic extract on dogs, and opposed to MacLeod and Banting who used a pure extract on a human. In addition to this, Paulescu wasn't the first to do this.
10:33 You forgot to mention it was an accident. And you have a homonym blind spot, the nucleus of an atom is different from a nucleus of a cell. When you draw a homonym don’t draw the opposite what you’re referring to.
if i ever again hear someone call marie sklodowska-curie "marie curie" geneva convention will need an update
I’m not pronouncing that.
@@XalasiaBall”Skło-” is pronounced like the “Squi” in “Squirrel” but with an “o” instead of an “i”, “-dow” is pronounced like “dove” as in “I dove into the pool”, and “ska” is pronounced the same as ska music.

A teraz wyobraź sobie, jak kuźwa anglik mówi ,,sclodowsca,,... My tez używamy spolszczeń by sobie ułatwić robotę, np. mówiąc o królach.

One of my friends is related to Fleming
I watched your videos since it was the start of your channel (A few hundred subs)
And...your point is...?
Hey evaluator, would you mind making a video on syndromes like ADHD, down , cerebral palsy, basically all syndrome you get since your birth
WHERE IS ROENTGEN?!?!?!?
Well, I wouldn't say _every_ idea - but most of them
While I like the video I’m a little disappointed in a few of these entries and the exclusion of a few.
No mention of Fritz Haber for nitrogen fixing and ammonia synthesis for better crops or Antonio Egaz Moniz for lobotomies, or Woodrow Wilson for co founding the League of Nations ? I know they aren’t the sexiest wins (I mean a Nazi, the lobotomy guy and a virulent racist who was the last president to own slaves !?) but they are important to know.
Mandela was not imprisoned in Rhode Island, (which doesn’t make sense) he was imprisoned on Robben Island. MLK was fine but man any other quote from the man would be good other than “content of character not color of skin.” It’s such an overused line that FOX News uses it to whitewash the man. That speech in 3.5 pages long at 12pt font with a lot of REALLY powerful quotes that also sum up his message well.
We wont mention the austrian painter
Banting and McLeod didnt deserve it. Paulescu did.
Why isn’t there martti ahtisaari
Why aren't there literature winners?
It's for ideas not literature
So, at first, they gave a Nobel prize to a scientific discovery. How did they decide to give it to peace?

*why i cant see Mustafa Kemal Atatürk? Because also he did won Nobel Prize-Winning.*

It’s not fair is it when a male scientist like Bruce Banner gets exposed to gamma radiation - he gets to be a superhero. He gets his own movie and comic book franchise.
But a female scientist like Marie Curie just gets killed. He got to be the Hulk. That’s not fair, is it? It’s indeed the fault of the patriarchy.
Or... Maybe Bruce banner is *fictional* and marie curie is *real.* Gamma rays affect *everyone* regardless of gender
