Two years ago a girl I had recently started seeing put My First Car on while driving us to her place. I had never mentioned Vulf to her even though they were my favorite band. By the time we got to her place I knew I had to make it official. We've been inseparable and are working on engagement plans. This is an important song.
the "about to hit the hi hat" is probably just to keep the motion in the arm not to lose the groove. My point was that where some drummers would hit anything in sight, this drummer really makes every sound he makes count.
i listened to vulfpeck religiously from 2016-20 and it was good music to get through tough times. i saw theo katzman live in boulder and it was amazing. i slowly let their music go as i have been so much better since then. but i still return to this song and its a favorite. long live vulfpeck!

It was a few months before my son Marcelo was born, I remember in 2022 being a medical resident listening to this on my way to work at 4 am thinking about him. In my head playing memories that still are years ahead from us, Playing football in the yard, dancing in our living room to songs we like, playing music with him. I was playing this song over and over "waiting for the moment" "for a brighter day" that i get to meet him. It was of course the first song I played on our way home on the cold winter morning we took him home. I hope to see you guys at some point in my life and take my kiddo with me. I love you Vulf.
