Scott I'm looking for some advice on frost/ice
Built the new wall's and I used the porcelain slabs for the coping stones and I'm delighted with the results,but ran out of time and weather to finish the patio, looking to start early march 28 square metres and two steps into the conservatory, I've got four steps up to the lawn done with the porcelain,now the problem is that we are in the middle of a cold spell in Scotland and the steps and coping is like an ice skating rink, I really don't want to change from the porcelain tiles for the patio, I think it would ruin the project, have you got any advice on porcelain and what to do for winter 🥶 will salt damage or discolour the tiles 🥶🙏help required, cheers Scott
Hi David and yes it’s cold out there atm and cement needs to be above 3 degrees and rising to set properly so yes best wait and as for the patio being slippery it doesn’t matter what product you use everything freezes when it’s cold enough and using salt should be effect the porcelain as it’s non porous material 👍🏴

Have you tried walking backwards to help with movement and muscle imbalances for your ankle lower legs and knees. It is ment to be a big help.
Thanks for the walking backwards tip I’ll give that a go can’t believe it’s taking so long to heal totally !! Having the screws taken out at some point too I’ve decided as it is a option

This is an interesting subject 👍when pricing you patios how do you calculate how much via tonnage of soil needs to come out,also calculating how much sand and cement you need? This would greatly help me out thankyou
The moasure helps me out with everything I’ll need for all my projects buy calculating the volume firstly then I use other apps for calculating what I need to order from the moasure calculation 👍🏴
