Not only elevation. Point location, backgrounds diagram and more. It changed the way we do our landscaping works. Totally recommended
It's accurate, if you don't have any user errors. Every time you measured, it pulled up an error message. You didn't put it down in one spot, you jostled it around. The last measurement (8ft test), it even says "Start/Finish Error: 100%".
So I use this for landscaping. How much seed, how much mulch sod etc. irregular shapes. Significantly more accurate and less waste But you can’t just throw it around shuffle it when on the ground etc.
Better by far than eyeballs and possibly good for very rough estimations if you need them lik "right now"
For other measuremens you need 16ths or at least 8ths that are repeatable.
Are to gardening or measuring for cabinets?
I have two lazer measurers. Both do over 150 feet. My $37 ACEGMET brand and the $800 Leica usually measure within 1/4 inch of each other.
Amazing technology.
Like all tech, it's a tool for quick estimates. Not for plans or precise measures.
For lawn mowing estimates this seems like a useful tool. But can it replace the measuring wheel?
Such a cool tool! It'd be nice if they had a homeowner model instead of the commercial kind. $$$$

Subtract the width of the tape and appears to accurate
It's kind of a concern that its off by 2 inches for a straight line 8 ft distance, do you think having the phone attached to the stick caused that much error?! Operator error? Especially for the cost
He had a 100% error on it with it being off 2 “. They recommend anything with a 1% error is good. So he obviously didn’t do it so goos

I don't think is fit for short measurment or square shape. I think it's more relevant for measuring a aera of a house or a land with no straigh angle. I'd like to see test that way.

measure 100 x 50 ft... not a piece of plywood...
It Useless , why I didnt see your video first before I ordered. Measured a Pool Table 4 times different m2 and Meters.
Will it work if you don't have cell service?
Cell service isn't required. Bluetooth connectivity is required.

I do t think it helps you was slamming it in the floor to try and turn it on. I’m all their videos they tell you the importance of being gentle with it.
Just get a disto for the same price
Don’t loose your money. Tape measurement is still the best option.

A Lazer measuring tool can't be seen in broad daylight. Outdoors, Bluetooth don't give a shit.
