Arise and the Igris Fight were one of the two moments we’ve been waiting for and they were both delivered PERFECTLY. This Solo Leveling adaptation was amazing and I can’t wait for cour 2.
was playing the solo leveling game arise and i like the contrast of both game was a bit more edgy and the anime was more to the script. If you wanna see a more intense scene of the arise id suggest watching igris arise scene from the game.

This is probably the best final episode to the prologue arc we could’ve had. Jinwoo’s VA deserves an award for pulling off better emotional and desperate screams than Sean Schemmel. The OST was popping off every damn episode. This anime is probably the greatest action anime of the last 5 years if not longer. I can’t wait for the next season.
Solo leveling is basically like tower of god in the sense that the first season is really just a prologue and then in season 2 is where they turn it up and never look back, hopefully tower of god season 2 will be as good though because they didn’t do that good of a job with their anime adaptation compared to solo leveling
Yeah I pray for them to make the ToG 2dn Season perfectly, cuz that shit becomes really good from there.

This adaptation is done really well so far. A-1 Pictures is an amazing studio that can create some amazing art, and with Hiroyuki Sawano on the score? This is art. We might be spoiled by recent JJK animation, but this animation is still phenomenal.

If you’re curious more about the Japanese word Okiro, it’s a conjugation of the verb “Okiru” which means to get up. It’s most commonly used for saying you woke up from sleeping, and the Okiro conjugation is the command-form of it. So it’s literally telling them to get up/wake up or “arise”
If you ever hear an anime character saying “Okita” or “okimasu” in reference to waking up, that’s where the word comes from

because it's not really spoilers, i'll say i can't wait for Igris to have more screen time. the stronger summons Jinwoo gets have their own little personalities, and soon we get introduced to another one that Jinwoo names "Beru" and we stand for beru in this household
the side characters aren't relevant to Jinwoo's story yet, but soon enough their stories converge so you have a reason to care about them. it feels clunky, but the way they've introduced and interspersed them throughout the MC's (a)rise to power means you have at least somewhat of a feel for who they are instead of them dropping 6 or 7 new characters on you out of nowhere. i remember when i was reading the manhwa i couldn't keep track of who was who lmao

I understand that people are expecting more from this episode, bcz of the hype created by the people like me who have read the manhwa, but reason they don't get our hype for, is that this is the one and only powerup in this whole show that skyrockets the power levels of JinWoo, first time viewers aren't deeping the fact that from now on forward, every and any overpowered enemy *(with some limitations), that JinWoo and his high class shadow army defeats, he'll be able to make that enemy a part of his shadow army, again, boosting his power lvl to the BEYOND category.

btw Nicholas, im kinda late just knowing your reactions by now currently watching your 2nd episode of reaction. Just to inform you the same music composer for attack on titan is the same composer for this anime. I think that was obvious during episode 7 on his fight against the cerberus. Its actually just so awesome how hiroyuki sawano the composer can create music that can describe feeling in the most uplifting ways and portraying emotions too. especially the choir scene in episode 2. Just letting you know about hiroyuki sawano's art on how its a masterpiece
the next arc is tbh my favorite part of the whole series, season 2 bout to be the best shi to drop in years
