    At 1:30 I believe you are giving a wrong explanation as to how the actuator mechanism works.
    This design comprises a normally open (NO) wastegate flapper, which closes the exhaust bypass door shut, while vacuum is applied on the actuator mechanism, building up boost on the compressor side.
    At idle no vacuum is applied and the wastegate opens wide, which means the turbine spins slower, generating less boost.
    It might sound strange and wrong to you but actually this specific boost control system is why this engine needs a separate vacuum pump.

    In this video, you removed the up cover. I need to tighten cover down.

    Can you tell me what the best setting are for the wastegate adjustment for a bmw f20 116? The turbo gives a fold pressure when i make more than 4000 rpm.
    The turbo was disconnected because the rattle fix is repaired and a new actuator was installed. How mutch pressure do you have build up to close the wastegate?

    What signs can i look for when the blow off valve is not working or that plug on it’s not working?
    My car has a rough idle and one day i decided to remove that plug and put it back and the rough idle was gone but comes after i press hard on the accelerator and the turbo does and does not kick in sometimes and give the drivetrain warning? What could be the problem? Thank you

    Hi, Thanks for the video... is the double pipe in the side of the turbo water or oil.. you say in the video oil but I belive it connects to the water pipes

      You are correct. The dual pipe connection on the side of the turbo is for coolant circulation (inlet/outlet). Top and bottom pipe connections are for oil circulation.

    i have the same car F20 N13 116I , i went to lot of dealers and cant offer solution to the error i have, its regarding pressure boost too low & plausability, the car boost but i have that drive drain,can you help?
    thanks for the Video, also my heater heat only on passenger side,so frustrating.
