    Please remember to run water through the radiator before clamping down hoses just in case there is any aluminum shavings in the radiator. you never now. I learned the hard way and it sucked lol. but anyway love the channel keep doing what you do. 👍🏼

      Good tip! I asked Brandon if we should fill with antifreeze and he was a firm “NO! Water first!”.

      I always run distilled water first because there is always a leak somewhere and water is a lot easier to clean up!! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!

    Sweet radiator! Now I am getting really jealous as my radiator was replaced before I got it so it still has life in it. No excuse to buy an aluminum one that can be polished up so pretty. I opted for the DaveFab radiator cooling panel which also looks really slick as well. Looking forward to the finishing touches you guys are planning.

      Brandon, might I ask a 2005 xB question. Airbag light on. Had it read and it stated front drivers seatbelt sensor. What’s my next step? Junkyard? eBay? Amazon? Thank you

    Man the radiator looks slick, my silverware isn't even that shiny! Great job guys, and kudos on adding the air redirection unit or radiator cover if we don't wanna get to technical, it looks so sick! The next few weeks will surely be a good build up to the key turning vid, cheers XDD nation!

    I need to get me a better radiator myself. My ebay special is suffering now that the Miata is supercharged lol.

    • @ExtremeDailyDrivers
      @ExtremeDailyDrivers  3 роки тому

      I ran the stock one on my supercharged Miata without any issues, but do yourself a favor, get this Koyo rad for $250 and you'll never have to worry about it again.

    Did you have to trim the upper radiator hose?

    Koyo rads are designed to take take the oem cap and drain plugs

      @ExtremeDailyDrivers  2 роки тому

      That's not what they advertise, but I bet you are right. In this case, we didn't have an oem radiator to test out that theory. Thanks for watching.

      @@ExtremeDailyDrivers This Miata radiator unit is completely plug and play with all OEM hardware and thicker aftermarket sway bars! Koyo smartly designed their Miata radiator to take the factory cap, factory fans and even the factory plug so that service at your local dealer is not a problem and replacement parts are as close as your local autoparts store or Mazda dealer. NOTE new radiator cap NOT included, but we do offer KOYO Performance caps separately on the site. New drain plug is included. This 36mm koyo Miata radiator fits easier with OEM hardware and thicker aftermarket sway bars than bigger 2 inch cores, usually without having to trim the fan housings. Also very popular with the spec Miata racers because it cures most overheating issues without adding quite as much water weight as the 55mm/2inch core models. Goodwin racing
