Sad but true. Woke bluegrass. I really like the talented Billy. But so sad to see him misguided here and being sucked into adding political poppycock to his show. Thanks to fossil fuel ALL OF THESE SHOWS ARE POSSIBLE. Right down to even the production of his musical equipment and stage lighting. The climate change cultists won't be satisfied until we're all living in caves, and even then they won't be satisfied. Truly a religion with them. Otherwise for the most part I think Billy is a real humble down to earth fellow with supernatural talent, but this is one misguided song I don't care for.
I'm sorry man, if you think this is woke you should get outside* more often. The guy is saying we should take care of our neighbors, our loved ones and where we live. That's literally as conservative as you can get.
@@thomasstevens9551 I'm guessing that you're not fond of his song Wargasam either. To me, Billy is just voicing the valid concerns of his generation, just as Bob Dylan did back in the 1960s. Billy writes songs about many serious subjects, not just songs about pickup trucks, beer and chasing women like most of the crappy songs being put out by the pop country machine these days.
@@golfingfool777 yep your right. He has every right to express his feelings in his songs, AND SHOULD! Those two just ain't my cup of tea. Saw him at Redwing Roots Festival many moons ago before he reached stardom. Totally blew my socks off! ABSOLUTELY love his Tinfoil and Turmoil album, one of my favorite of his, and his stuff with Don Julin was just superb! Also, your absolutely right about modern country, pop,and rock! All garbage.
I forgot how much I love bluegrass till I stumbled onto billy. Wow..keep on trucking.
....It's just so tasty to hear OUR favorite talents addressing problems at hand , Billy and his band are to be commended!....

@@ryanh7167 must of heard a different song. Don't know what being conservative or liberal fits in.
