Nice to see the breakdown between these 2 sleds that you did. That Muskoka kid tho, he has definitley shown us these past couple of years what a 146 NA Doo can do (when in qualified hands). This past winter saw him putting that 146 against a 165 Boost being ridden by that Dawson kid. Very compatible riders.
Good video. The summary at the end was really the essence of it. Deeper and steeper means more and more track is wanted. It's also important to mention rider weight. Ladies and teens down closer to 125 pounds don't need nearly the same level of flotation as the big 200 pound dudes.
It’s nice to see the different riding styles between Caleb and Chase. Caleb seems to muscle the sled where he wants it and Chase let’s the sled do the work and reacts to the sled more. Both get the job done in style just an observation I made while watching.
That’s the difference between Chase training cardio all summer and me hitting the weights hard 😅😅 Different riding styles is part of what makes this sport so unique. I love seeing guys that are masters of finesse and guys that manhandle sleds like there’s no tomorrow
Nice job on this edit Caleb! Good comparison of the sleds, agree on the terrain. Good to see your healing continue, appreciate the work you put into these vids!! 🤘
Definitely a good idea. It’s hard to film but I think we could knock it out with some effort. The GoPro videos I post on IG kind of show those moves in action in technical terrain
Epic. Two questions! What length track was the Arctic Cat? And is it hard to change out skid/track (on the matrix)? I want both options but can't afford two sleds :P
@@CalebKesterke Only ride 10 days a year. Not good enough rider for those maneuvers yet. Went from 163 pro to 165 alpha and plan to go back to Polaris or a catalyst. How how does a 165 Khaos compare to a 155 pro for transfer? Defiantly like the transfer of the alpha
@@kuervers03 Even with the exact same amount of ski lift they will have a different feel when they transfer due to the length. But you can make a 165 Khaos more playful than a 155 pro depending on shock setup
@@nickpoggi3455 They are a stiffer track which is awesome for the snow pack around here and anywhere on the coast. The only time the M770 or M66 don’t out perform stock is in extremely sugary high elevation snow

This is the first year I ordered a 146 and a 154 for different conditions. Great video!
You’ll have to let me know how you like having both options
Excellent video! Good to see you feeling better!
Crushing it out there brotha man! Keep up the great work everyone, and keep Progressing!
I’ll do my best 🤘
Good looking cat
loving the content brutha!!! this vid answered a question that has been in my head for a long time!
Pumped to hear! Thanks for watching!
Awesome demonstration between the two length of tracks. Keep up the great videos and your willingness to improve. 👍👍

Would love to see Arctic cat man on an 850 without a snow flap and long tunnel

Thanks for watching Tony!
You did forget to mention a 174 or 175 where you just ride in a straight line all the way around the globe until you're back at the pickup.
😂😂😂 I’ve never even rode a 175 so I can’t give my opinion on it
@@CalebKesterke would be awesome to see you on one. totally different from sled for how you ride
Great explanations!
Love these edits/informative episodes!! Keep it up G!
Thanks for watching!
Good video 👍 thanks for taking the time to produce it!
Thanks for watching! Tons more to come
Your videos are awesome!
Awesome vid and details!!!
Thank you, one day you will have to make a video of exploring and covering some terrain with real world uses for some of the acrobatics.

Sick vid 🤙🏼
+1 for SNOTEL SWE call out. I'm down in WY and snow density matters a lot compared to just snow depth in the Rockies. Cheers!
Yep so true!
Nice , I been waitn
146 needs a 3.25 lug 146 is such a fun length. So playful. Also great on bad snow still. Idk so many trade offs
Would love to try the 146 ….love my 155 and got a 163 but find it’s too long (esp for a short guy). .. might swap the 163 to a 146
Thanks for the videos man awesome.!! Just wondering what clutching your running lib how they stay in the RPM.thanks 🍻
what camera is your brother using when he gets roosted?
What settings do you run on your gopro?
Thanks bro
Any thoughts with weight of rider and 650 motor? Looking for someone in the sub 150 completely geared up.
What camera are you filming with? Also great video as always 🤘
Sony A7iii
Do you think beginner riders should start on a 164 or jump right into 155?
I think either are good options for a beginner
Epic. Two questions! What length track was the Arctic Cat? And is it hard to change out skid/track (on the matrix)? I want both options but can't afford two sleds :P
The Arctic Cat is a 146. It's very easy to swap skids and tracks on a matryx. Easiest sled out there to do it on
Would you put the 3’’ track on the 146’’ and a 2.6 track on the 155’’?
They don’t make an 3” for the 146 OE or aftermarket. Now on the 155 Polaris makes an series 7 track 3” and series 8 2.75”.
Awesome video as always!! Do you guys ride 165's a swell?
Thanks
Not very much but there’s definitely a place for them!

So where you riding?
What engine, 850 or 9r?
Are you getting a 9r?
155 rogue tunnel chop to 146 length? Or 155 with rogue 155 length?
That red sled is a 146 with a 155 rogue bumper. I modified the 155 bumper to work with the shorter tunnel
Can you give us your thoughts on those composit tracks? Not a lot of real world reviews or opinions on them
I love them. They hook up so hard and are significantly more durable than anything else I’ve seen
@@CalebKesterke Thank you. I've been eyeballing them as a potential replacement for my series 8 that I tore a few lugs on last year

How about the 165 inch
The 88’ snoscoot 36” track or bust! Keep er pinned!
Bring back 151"
Killer vid and dialogue
What about 163?
Those bow ties look weird if your not used to mountain riding.
The "music" in the background is so awful that I split after about two minutes.
Glad you let us know before you left.
Looks like your camera man needs hazard pay for content like this lmaooooo!
😂😂 Yes he does
What about a 163🧐🧐🧐
