To enhance Germination, the tip of apple seeds must be removed by fingernail.
Initially for sprouting the seeds you can wrap the seeds in tissue paper or in coconut coir.
Little moisture is necessary for sprouting, overwatering can spoil the seeds.Check them regularly and if required, moisten them.
For plantation of sprouted apple seeds choose well-drained and loose soil.

I like how this thoroughly explains how to actually grow them; and that the introduction isn’t so annoyingly long.
Not only that, I’ve been to several websites trying to find out if apple seeds needed ‘cold stratification’; some said yes, some said no.

If you just put the core of the apple in a plastiic bag and put it in the icebox all of the seeds will sprout right out of the core - it really works

Your experience is very precious for those who grow plants! I try to root the cuttings of different trees.
The question is wether the apple tree grown from the seed will loose the properties of its mother-tree at least partially or not? (At least in the books it is said the apples and pears' seeds will loose part of the properties, I did not try it yet however )

Ok y’all’s error is to let them grow 6 inches before putting them into the elements let them stay somewhere like your home where the temp is a steady 75 and let them get sunlight but not between the curtain and window because that will basically cook the plant example of what to do open your curtain where there is a good amount of sunlight through out the day and if you have a table or something for the plant to sit on open the curtain and place that on the table so that it gets sunlight and doesn’t cook and once it’s 6 inches if you want or if it needs to transplant it into the ground or another pot and if your in a sub 0 climate keep it insulated so it doesn’t freeze to death hope that this helps happy gardening!

I don't know if they will be able to grow into a big tree because it's not that cold here but I'm still hopeful. Here are a few tips, don't keep them in full sunlight for first 3 years and keep them in shade, don't overwater them. I hope u grow big beautiful trees in future 😊. Jai Shree Krishna
