Upgrading a Tiramisu onlt Wii U to Aurora would make a good video. It's not hard but the hacks guide is a little lacking. I also had to copy files from the tiramisu folder to the Aurora folder to get games to be licensed to play. Otherwise the Wii U complained about games not being allowed to play because of ownership reasons.
So far when comparing my HDMI modded Wii using USBLoaderGX enhancements and a Wii U natively to play Wii games, the HDMI Wii wins. USBLoaderGX in vWii is missing the settings that improve image quality on the Wii.
@@GiSWiG Are you talking about the Wii U's lack of full range RGB in HDMI? A moded Wii with HDMI has full range but a Wii U doesn't. Some Tv's have the option to turn full range off and then the Wii U will look just as good as the old Wii.

Full RGB means the ability to display the full range of 0-255" The Wii U Hdmi is limited to 16-235. So yes a moded HDMI on a Wii will look better than a Wii U unless you can change your display to limited RGB.
You think all that will fit on a 16gb ad card? Because that's all I have for right now If you think so then I will proceed to install but if you don't then I'm not going to do anything for now

An HDMI modded Wii doesn't have true RGB 4:4:4. It interpolates since the source is still 4:2:2.

Pretty sure you can just copy the files to a bigger card if you end up needing more space ...

I'm from Canada so is 5.5.5 the right firmware for Canadian Wii U consoles? if not, then how do I update my Wii U from 5.5.5 to 5.5.6 in 2024?
Any 5.5.X firmware will work
5.5.6 for USA, 5.5.5 for the rest of the world. These were the final versions.
