I seen more advertisement for wizard101 than pirate101. Maybe the marketing team needs to advertise Pirate101. If they not going to advertise it then even the content they add doesn't matter.
12:08 real asf. Skyways are the one benefit of pirate's world over wizard. The only thing stopping the individual islands from feeling small is the fact you can sail from one to another. Most important thing for me. When i enter a world I imagine what the skyway is like first not the random islands. I want it to be the first thing I see. Tarterus was what 2.5 hours long? They said they are looking at something less than that? That’s barely 1 skyway in krok. Not to mention most companies are not viable after Kane as they are outdated and weak. The companies can’t get better until they increase the level cap. If they are going to continue to add harder and harder fights they can’t reasonably expect the player to keep up if they want to go solo. I agree the updates need to come at more frequent basis if they want to maintain momentum. If they are doing something for new player you can’t tell me the code is that complex to move back the paywall unless they are changing the quests at the start again.
Well, in my opinion, I think it's a good thing they're buffing companions. It just that they're making some things a bit unbalanced. Of course the players won't say it, but i will because they like things that are broken just like any other playerbase. I'm more worried about classes losing their indentities and they gave us broken companions to compensate the unbalanced, over level new mobs we fight in the future update. what i mean about over level mobs is that they have the new world difficulty on them, but we're not as strong as the devs thing we are to defeat them.
They're not updting fast enough to even make it worth people to keep playing, lot's of the newest online games die because players keep getting bored of playing the game, getting an hour of content, just to log off and wait months for more content. (literally what i do with wiz).
Basically they awkwardly slink away when it comes to actually making krok worth it. ...yeah im not surprised, they like PLAYING developer but refuse to BE a developer. Seriously, they have said they can make a skyway, and i doubt the expenses would be too much since they already have a lot of the stuff for it in the files so like, go the extra mile and idk maybe make the skyway for FREE rather than trying to pry money from gamigo since they wont do anything, but make sure to let them know that this is an act of good will and making a skyway like this wont be common until gamigo actually bothers to invest in pirate and let the game thrive
Love more people speaking about the fact that we genuinely dont want snippets but a real world and they STILL dont focus on what the players truly want. They just use excuses and dodge the fact that they dont just do that. Even if its a small team. If you got the time to add these smaller updates and such, they got the ability to take the more time needed to give another world. I wish we didnt have to wait till like 2030 (Joke but probably likely) to get another world. the new funnel thing kinda blows, if they want, redo skull islands graphics for the funnel for both ends new and max players, or the paywall agreed shove it further to like lvl 14 before going to tradewinds. I bought flotsam and can go do lvl 15 which I think they should allow. Flotsam and all of Skull Island free.
As a endgame player I do want a skyway for krok and either in part 1 or 2 of valencia there was a storm gate to krok as well so they would have to make a skyway to get to krok regardless and if they don’t do that then why would they have a storm gate to krok in the first place? Like it just doesn’t make sense
Also also if they can’t make skyways, they should make some like MASSIVE area you can explore, like there are in aquila mooshu and cool ranch, and nothing that’ll make you claistaphovic
The pay wall use to be before you got your mom and dad ship and you had to go to the next sky way that where it use to start. That made me want to get a membership or crowns to play more if they stopping after you get the quest to leave skull island that not going to make to many people want to play.
But in the end with the weird way they wanna continue the story and chunk it and put it everywhere with other stuff is dumb. I agree with you nothing and making something bigger is better than small chunks getting us nowhere. I just want a golden skyway with krok music to explore ykwim. Level increase would be cool too, so much more is available. But idk how game deveolpment works and I could be going against everything else but me and ALOT of other players agree with where im going about this all. The game is just in a sad state and they always want to go "bigger" but in the end go smaller with SOMETHING holding them back, nm what everytime. I just dont want the game to die fr, been playing for over a decade, I was 8-9 T>T
Wish they'd add to the already empty skyways, like Dragonspyre. There's a Dragonspyre Skyway in Pirate, but absolutely nothing in it. They could just add on content that's already there that needs content instead of making it a waste of space. To be honest, I'd rather wait longer for a completed "world" than get it piecemeal... ACTUALLY, here's a solution to their "Revamped companion system" that could make them tons of money... Just give crowns shop companions their own short quests... No seriously, a lot of crown shop companions already have a sidequest prerequisite to be able to buy them. AND, it'll give players some snippets of content they can buy into. Dunno how that'd work out, but it could give Devs something small to do on the side while updating their "Bigger content releases". My biggest complaint with compaions is, if you buy them mid to late game, they dont get nearly enough skills or talents to keep up with your "Free" companions. It's kinda funny the free stuff is just outright better in most cases than the "Premium bought" companions...
i feel like the game would have to be more active to be able to have the devs make a new skyway, as the devs said making skyways is expensive, so they could possibly be losing money by making a new skyway at the moment, but they could make one later on, as i said, when the game is more active and also if its profitable for the company
that's just the thing though, the game won't become more active if it continues at its current pace. kingsisle focuses the majority of their budget, resources, time, etc. into wizard101 because it has a much larger playerbase and of course is more profitable. while on the other hand pirate101 is dead in the water and has been for a very long time, occasionally they'll release an expansion/ continue the main story with a new dungeon or 2 like the sinbad series and now the most recent update, but give it a few weeks and all the hype/ new and returning players will have already stopped playing again because there's nothing left for them to do after grinding for the gear in it. pirate has so much potential to be an even more amazing game and pull in a larger audience but it simply won't happen for who knows how many more years.
@ryv_n yea i can see that, that does makes me unsure on how they will grow the game though, i do feel like the snowball statement is true, and that once more people get into the game they can add more big stuff into it, but the question is how do you start getting new people to be interested? probably make the paywall appear later in the game? edit: now i think making a new skyway is actually one of the better options they have, despite it being costly

I already got half the gear needed for my stitches till after dreadfully farming ill stop playing again till a new update. Granted I still need a max privy but that's besides the point.
@@CITYSeaBLUES i agree, i don't mean to pin everything on the development team considering they have a limited budget and resources to work with, although they really only have themselves to blame for being in that situation in the first place. if they want more income from pirate101 to compete with wizard101 they should be working on larger high quality updates to the game that encourage new and returning players to have a reason to stay instead of quitting in a day or a couple weeks at most after each update releases. nothing will change immediately or quickly at all, it will take time to revive the game if they ever get serious about it. not to mention 99% of anything that happens in pirate is just new or readded crown shop items so they can make a quick buck off us, lol.
Honestly the developers don't know what they are doing and seems to me they are just trying to squeeze money out of the small community. It honestly don't take long to make 3d models or skyways. You can literally do it in a day. They call packs you buy with money "content". This is not content its just gambling it adds nothing to the game at all. They want money without the "development" part of a game. They say it cost massive amounts of money to make a world. Thats not true, developers are severely under paid. Also they can use wizard 101 assets. So wheres the cost? Sky way easy its literally just a back drop of what ever they want. Then random islands for looks of the skyway.Then the ships/ mobs in the skyway and 3d model of locations lmao. They can literally copy paste any skyway change the mobs/back drop and 3d models gg. All these years of excuses and money they get but players don't get anything. They also won't get new players at all because they see the game has not had real content since release. These developers work like 1 day a year.
And it doesn't even help that tartarus is so hard because all of the enemies are 3-5 levels over the actual level cap and dodge AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT, so if your a melee it's just next to impossible to even kill them, and dont even get me started on the amount of damage each individual enemy does, the entire set of enemies ALL OF THEM in the shade eagilles fight have sneak attack hits. Which DOUBLES their damage. Basically meaning if they crit on you and you dont have a ton of hp you are either getting one shot that turn or you have 2 hp left and are going to die to the next enemy anyways. Tartarus balance wise and in every aspect in my opinion was RUSHED and made horribly.
Oh 100% agree with this, they didn’t make it hard by making interesting gameplay aspects, they just made the enemies had a ridiculous amount of epics, it’s not even fair. I’ve head my entire team die before I even got done buffing and it just doesn’t feel fair. Like being difficult is one thing but unfair is not good for gameplay.
@@JustFang Yeah, and im mainly a musketeer player so it doesn't affect me much, but with a lot of the friends i play with are melee characters. It took me forever to get the axe from the manticore fight 😭
I am a older gamer and just found this game . In all they have a gem of a game if they would just promote it and listen to the players.
