What a gift to receive an extended version of Starchild! He sang very great live, lovvveed his voice, loved that weekend, great vibe, was suuuuuch good weather, i was there with my sister! 👍🌟 Long line for drinks, 🌞🥵, beautiful evening weather later on, great moonview, we came from Holland, planes, trains and automobiles. We had a blast! Was a great weekend!!

@@romulus_ In recent interviews (recent meaning the past 7 years because things have been slowwww as a Jami fan as of late 😭) Jay has talked a little bit about his spirituality, and he indicates his beliefs are based around Christianity. As you said, "Starchild" is a song about the dangers of organized religion, and to go a bit further with it, I feel like it speaks to his frustration and internal struggle seeing Christianity being weaponized and evangelical grifters being complete frauds. And honestly? I love that and really relate to how he feels. Religious or not, anyone can agree that Christianity has earned a bad reputation through hateful hypocritical followers who look to push an agenda and greedy leaders. That'll put anyone off, not just from the religion, but anything having to do with spirituality itself, it did for me for the longest time. Either way, it's yet another example of what a fantastic musician and songwriter Jay is especially with his versatility. He can write mega hits and songs that'll get you moving, but he can also deliver very thought provoking and deep songs (all set to a funky bassline, of course).
yes.! I was at this concert. A very verygreat band. And Jay Kay has an extraordinary voice which slides on the melodies. He announced during the concert a new album, there were in studio there are few weeks. More happiness to come!!
