Great video. I think a series of videos showing you building another like this including sourcing parts, modifications and costs would be really good..
Sum is greater than its parts is the key. Nice build. What is a shame is in the states you can pick up bikes for building cheaply. In the uk it's top prices for basicly rubbish. Also breakers stripping down to every nut bolt and washer. Wonder how much gets skipped.
Henry, the amazing AJZ is missing one component. It needs a piece if C4, or the British improvement of RDX in the gearbox. This would allow you to disseminate your fantastic bike to a wider market, in about 0.008 seconds! Must I say anymore? Love your work Henry, but sometimes your tastebuds are up you're arse! Australia.
Nah people way to lazy these days. Just buy a late model retro Royal enfield, Triumph Bonneville or Honda as a base. There cheap enough new and reliable. All have plenty of after market bolt on stuff for looks or performance. All are very ridable and usually cheaper used with only a few thousand miles and money already spent on the usual performance modes that most do. So they spent 1-2k and sell 2+k cheaper then showroom price. You save around 4-5k in many cases buying like this. All the services have been done as they are under warranty particularly Enfield with 3 year warranty. I have a 2019 650 Enfield and a 2007 Triumph Bonneville and love riding them both. Thats they way things are going in the real world.
Sam could have built something better for a hell of a lot less and it would have been worth watching you both do it. Milliard however, would have absolutely knocked it out of the park but that would be way too tidy for you I suppose not enough rust..sorry PATINA. The point is you got ripped off. Things must be a bit thin on the ground in your neck of the woods because your doing the same thing to all the other hopeless muppets you sell to. Gotta say though, watching it on telly makes me laugh...A HELL OF A LOT. don't stop Henry, life would be just that little bit duller.
Don't your country 's law against this? modification ,changing of original shape to another according to the certificate of registration . In SRI LANKA its yes.we cant do anything since its against the law. You people are lucky if its not.
It's basically just a Kawasaki z400 with a different tank and chopped subframe. Technically, it should go through single vehicle approval (a government test), but it doesn't really matter.
Some of the best days of my riding life was on the smaller cc bikes there just good fun on the back roads🏍️🏍️
Wide handle bars?
Henry Cole's Cool T shirt collection is Legendary.
This is about the best bike Henry has made - love it.
I love the look of this bike and have done since it first appeared on Shed & Buried.
I'd like to do something similar with my kz440.
Turning it into a side car as Henry & Sammy did ?
Great video. I think a series of videos showing you building another like this including sourcing parts, modifications and costs would be really good..
he bought it like that from a shed.
who doesnt love a mongrel. , nice work. tried putting an X7 engine in a field bike frame as a teenager , sold as an ongoing project , 35 years ago.
and still regret it....
I remember Sam letting you keep this one !
Henry Cole needs to attend a few National Chopper Club events ....He may just lern a thin or two about building custom bikes.
And get some knowledge on the custom bike scene of the past 50 years!
Ratus has a Sidecar now. Very nice too.
from Portugal, thanks for the update..👍👍👍👍
Love it shed builds are best .
I made a CX500 into a (rather overweight) off roader. It gave my friends a laugh and me a hernia but heigh-ho, such fun....
God I love that rat bike....!

For the first time. I think Henry really may be a biker at heart after all. give me the Saxon any day though. I’ll risk being uncool for you.
Yup Its great Henry ! but to be fair how much work on it did you do ?
Zilch
And what does that have to do with anything?
And what does that have to do with anything?
is it legal. do you have to have it inspected or anything. what about type approval? .
Wear any Levi’s jeans or leather chaps with your motorcycle?

It's ok doing a few mods in your shed but unfortunately we don/t all have the skills of
Allen Millyard or Craig Jones....Know your limits..
Just watched them put a Chair on the side of it
Yes, but does your mate Allen approve? :)
Those Saxon looks like something expensive you would put in your salon for show, not ride…

You paid £1500 for that if my memory serves me right 🤔

I’d take the rat bike over that chopper 100 times out of 100. Not a chopper guy!
