My old man had a square four the same shade of green as that old wreck under the shelf , it is the only bike out of his large collection I remember him riding, we lived in Nigeria at the time he used to ride it to work.
Episode 15 series 6,Henry Henry Henry. The guy ,I think he is called fuzz or somut was awful to you,Alan Milyard as always is fantastic as are you. Thanks and please be strong enough to put up with the fuzzatribeThanks
Nigel just a question ....have you got relatives in Ashford kent England?,because my ex-brother in law is named Keith Beaumont. Anyway have fun in America 😁
Absolutely agreed, no idea why they picked him for this he should have stayed on SOS where he was right for the job as other have rightly said. They've even got to ring Sam Lovegrove up to get info 🤷♂️
It's possible... I know that Saxon Tate (of Tate & Lyle fame) used a combo as his daily transport, although that was during the fuel shortage caused by the Suez Crisis.
Can't see what is stunning and rare about this Ariel. I've got 3, they're not rare and at least mine all have their original registration numbers unlike the one shown. TV Land huh?
Surely a Huntmaster is NOT a Hunter so Henry did not in fact buy a Hunter. Back in 83 was offered a freshly rebuilt but chopped 500 Fieldmaster. Should have bought it buy was still feeling sore about my 79 T140E being nicked.
From Wikipedia: "Ariel Motor Company Limited is a British, low-volume performance motor vehicle manufacturing company in Crewkerne, in Somerset, England. The company was founded by Simon Saunders in 1991 as Solocrest Ltd. with a concept of modernizing Lotus Seven. As a transport design lecturer, Saunders and his student Niki Smart created CAD designs. After several sports car companies rejected his proposal, Saunders founded own company to create the Atom. In 1999, the company name was changed to Ariel Motor Company Ltd. The original Ariel Motors remains as the trading company of the Ariel Owners Motorcycle Club (AOMCC) Ariel Motorcycles firm. Ariel Motor Company is one of the UK's smallest automotive companies, with just 30 employees, producing up to 100 cars per year."
Why is this bike so rare, there are many thousands being ridden still, and the prices are typical of what we see them sell for. You can also still buy every spare part for almost every model in the range. It takes a bit of bullshit to make a show these days.
I believe Sam was referring to the 600 ohc Square Four that they were looking at. They are relatively rare. The Huntmaster was a rebadged BSA A10 so spares are aplenty.
Come on Henry! An Arial hunter, how much more boring can you get. Choose anything rather than that. How about a Velocettee venom thruxton, or a Brough superior. For Christ said give us a break

I bought a Ariel motorbike for my daughters wedding present she wanted a Arial to ensure she had a good reception.

Bring the whole lot…..both of you plus Sam, Alan and Fuzz….that would be gangster
Love those Ariels!
If it was a Vincent Black Shadow ,an early one it would be more than an extension she would be building.🙏
Way too cheap… that’d bring serious Dough over here in the US. I’m English, from Lancaster. Left in 1987 and never looked back. Love you Lads.
Nigel just a question ....have you got relatives in Ashford kent England?,because my ex-brother in law is named Keith Beaumont.

Still waiting for Fuzz to do something other than driving Henry around.
fuzz spoils the show should go back to car sos and bring Sam back
Definitely 😊
I agree he is good in car sos but does not do much here
Same in car SOS, always outsourced the hard stuff

I remember when Hunters were ride to work bike. Early 60s 400 hundred of us in an apprentice hostel. About 90 of us rode motorcycles.
As the doctor said to the patient with a large strawberry growing on his head. Don't worry I've got cream for that.
The vincent if it was a black shadow would not be extension would be a full house rebuild lol
Why did it go from 4 to 3.5???
I think it was two different bikes.
Bad editing!
I thought of Del boy having a deal with Trigger.
Bad editing.
Started on the Hunter, ended with the Huntmaster....
I'm pretty sure that 1950's bank managers didn't ride motorcycles.
It's possible...
I know that Saxon Tate (of Tate & Lyle fame) used a combo as his daily transport, although that was during the fuel shortage caused by the Suez Crisis.
Here in Canada we have the ''King Cole tea'' !!!

Wow… Any motorcycle lover?, Would love to spend several hours in that garage… No doubt…
Maybe a fishing rod for Guy 🤭🤭
henry offers 4k for a RED hunter, she says come up a bit, and then they shake hands at £3.5k WTF ?????
Ripping off the seller, and it's a Huntmaster [early type A10 motor with a different timing cover and Burman gearbox]
Surely a Huntmaster is NOT a Hunter so Henry did not in fact buy a Hunter. Back in 83 was offered a freshly rebuilt but chopped 500 Fieldmaster. Should have bought it buy was still feeling sore about my 79 T140E being nicked.
Had a 56 500 single red hunter
This is what’s called, Trying to kick start an old motorcycle when your both a strong as a wet lettuce

I don't know how much of the show is here, but the editing in this section is very confusing/misleading.
@@buxvan Because most of the people that watch his shows know EVEN LESS than he does.

As a motorcyclist I wouldn't be bored riding an Ariel 650, like my BSA A10 they're great fun.
@@splodge57 Doesn't Ariel 650 have A10 engine ? both great bikes though
