This is the 5th episode of the flying to/from Tel Aviv with all the airlines of the countries who signed the Abraham Accords (UAE, Israel and Bahrain).
Today it’s the UAE’s favourite low costs turn: flydubai and on their flagship flydubai Boeing B737 Max 8!
I’m flying on one of the newer aircraft today that features HAECO’s new Business Class seats. flydubai was the first airline to put these in operation and in this video you’ll be able to have a quick look at them!

Loved this! Booked a flight to Tel Aviv from Dubai and coincidently, I also booked 19A. Now I know what my view will be :) Do Philippine Airlines soon!
I would perhaps move a couple of seats back.. 21 or 22A-K. But those were not available on this day so 19A did it :)

btw the way the "Israeli" treat you eat is called Halva, it's made with tahini, ground sesame paste, and mixed with sugar syrup(the Israeli version) based treat.I kinda like it from time to time :D

Aside from the high quality images, I also like those bits of info related to the flight and the places, even the people. And yeah, I personally do not clap on landing, but I love it when passengers do it :)!
Thanks, glad to hear that. Flying for me is an entire experience and not solely related to the flight but also go all that goes on around me. Cultures are something funny and certain things just keep repeating themselves when flying to certain destinations. Israelis and Russians clap, on flights to Jeddah I’ve got dozens of people praying around the aircraft and performing Umrah/Hajj rituals, Afghans sit different on the aircraft seats, and it goes on! Beautiful world!

Very interesting video! I think the Israeli snack you mentioned is called Halvah. It is sesame-based, and it’s not sweet, so it throws off expectations! Fwiw, halal and kosher are very similar: no pork, shellfish, etc. I was reminded of a funny story when you crossed TLV’s runway 30, on the way to 26. That long taxiway is fairly new; it used to be a long hike to 26. Anyway, I was on El Al, and the Haredim didn’t like the seating arrangements (they’re crazy, what else is new!). So they refused to sit down, even as we taxied for takeoff. The FAs begged them to sit and work it out once we were airborne. No! The pilot, who obviously knew what was going on, speeded up on the taxiway, then slammed on the brakes. All the Haredim were scattered on the floor! Everyone else laughed, but the Haredim reluctantly took their seats. Sorry for the long story!

I had exactly the same happening on a flight from Morocco to Paris where many immediately stood up after landing, mostly people that likely were unfamiliar with flying, and almost all eventually ended up on the floor thank to the captain braking. But that was some 15 years ago and I doubt people could get away with it today!

Great vid as always! Nice to see a fly Dubai review and looks a very nice product especially as it’s targeted as low cost. You don’t hear clapping on landings anymore 😂! Also great review on Indigo I bet the food on any Indian carrier would be nice. Did you pay for entertainment or did you download, I suppose on a SH you don’t need entertainment but I can see it being an advantage on a 4/5-6hr flight. 👏👏👍
This looks smooth but there were several complaints about the 737 Max 8 a couple of years back, so what changed to have made Emirates buy in? Just curious
12:31, next time if you are flying on Fly Dubai, book seats 6A 6B 6C or 6D 6E or 6F the bulkhead seats, if you want a more peaceful time for yourself, pay more no problem but it is totally worth it.
I'm going to see my family in UAE in 4 days and I wanted to see how flydubai looks because that's the plane I was gonna take, tysm

You should definitely try Air Arabia, it is a really good "true" low cost airline. In my opinion Fly Dubai feels more like a hybrid airline.
I’ve got Air Arabia right next to my house yet never get the chance to fly them. Each time there is a change of plans. I hope to be able to do a video soon!

You would be surprised how many good fares I’m actually able to find, even on the not so “cheap” airlines! I just scored myself a flight on Etihad from Rome to Abu Dhabi for 70€😅
will fly air france ...BUSINESS......to Paris...then want to fly. Emirates to Dubai...maybe will look into flying Etihad back to the U.S.

I just did recently! I even had my flight cancelled due to the aircraft going tech so it was quite the adventure ! It will be published soon, hopefully this month.

Thanks! And yes, they brought it to me but I had to respectfully decline it and swap it for a soft drink as I was out until a couple of hours prior to the flight so not in a mood to drink 😂

Yes, I don’t think the regulators would let it fly again if it were safe. I encountered no issues!

All good I guess. It’s been cleared by regulators.
One thing to note, fly on their B737 MAX 8/ MAX 9 if you want that seat in economy. Flydubai 737-800 isn't that good, there was no IFE screen for economy, it was there for business class and the seat was made of fabric. We had Wi-Fi, but that was for internet and not wireless entertainment (The internet was not free though).

Beautiful video. So you can’t go to McDonalds anymore. It’s very bad food. Don’t do it! You have go straight to the gate and no stopping to buy at retail shops. You don’t want missed your flight. Try to get to the gate on time.
I never missed a flight yet. Yes McD isn’t really good for anyone but I went out in Tel Aviv the night before and my body was craving junk 😝

What exactly is Kosher meal? Anybody know?
Google will be your best friend as there are so many rules. It took me months to learn them (I do work a lot with Jewish customers in the hospitality industry and out curiosity).
It’s pretty basic: no pork, no shellfish, no mixing of meat with dairy. That’s about all there is. For the ultra orthodox, there are many more rules, and El Al will serve them “glatt kosher,” which is super-duper kosher!
