When I started growing out my hair my go to hair cut was a temp fade because I knew that I eventually was going to stop going to the barber shop. So when I did stop going the growth difference wasn’t too drastic.

Great video man, I have been growing my undercut for 4-5 months now and I can't wait to be able to do some braids.
Definitely going through an awkward phase but fortunately can hide it by keeping hair down. I can't see myself cutting my top hair it's too long to do this!

Even though it late saying this what haircut do you recommend someone to have and also if you go your haircut place what do ask your barber for. Is to just trim the front line and leave the undercut?
@@moshoodottun8204 he didn’t respond, but me personally I would suggest getting a low taper or a mid taper, the look is so clean and you have a full set of hair which creates so much versatility if your looking to two strand twist ur hair or braid it instead of just the top hanging down with the undercut

I got my hair trimmed a long time ago on accident which led to me to try to grow it back out with a high top fade again was definitely taking to long to grow back and I was just sick of the high top fade look everybody got it and people don’t realize all that time you grow your hair out with a high top fade it’s gonna look weird eventually so after mouths of not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair I decided to let it grow out like his in this video for this whole summer definitely was worth it got me a lil fro now gonna keep y’all updated💯 best advice to anybody who want it trim your high top taper💯

I shaved my head and now I don't get edge UPS or anything my hair. I've been using grease and leave in conditioner. One month later 1 inch

I’m in what I call my Wolfpack stage of my undercut growing. I’ve just been letting my hair on top out and curled out to cover it and wear a bandana.
when i grew out my sides, i learned how to flat twist so when i do wash n gos nobody sees it and it’s protected. now my side are like 4-4.5 inches

I’m starting my journey now. My high top is in cornrows into single plaits at the back right now. I’ll let the back and sides grow out for as much as I can but just get shape ups so my hairline don’t look bad
Same what I'm going to do is grow out my undercut and oil it and when it gets at least 2 inches I'll cornrow the top along with the sides so it's like a full head of cornrows until I reach the goal
Either that or I'm I'm gonna keep brushing the sides down until I can braid them

Luckily my hair grows really fast and is on the thicker side of the spectrum it grows about 2 to 3 cm a month and that's alot
I used to get faded almost weekly and was wasting money so decided to grow it out
I'm growing the rest of my hair since August/September and I was about to cut it all but now I just can't wait for the future results hope by the summer it is a bit longer.

I just do some finger coils or compact my hair to make my styles blend or somewhat look new. it is very hard because this is MY 3RD AND FINAL ATTEMPT AND I WILL BEAT THIS‼️😂😂

I always thought growing out undercut after top is long is going to be so much easier cause the top covers the sides so no one sees it, I tried it and found out it looks hella ugly until u can do something with it

@@foe.breezy5009 getting to the being able to braid it phase isn’t too bad. In the meantime I just wore a hat and tucked it under. The hardest part for me is seeing how much longer the other part of my hair is lol it sucks and I’m two years in lol the ugly phase is a right of passage though.

Chicken Head either trim your ends or just use more products on your ends than you do on your roots and and try deep conditioning your ends
