The inverter is on the whole time you are plugged into the wall? How about pass through function?I thought the inverter is off in pass through function and the current bypass the inverter and powers the load directly

I read on reddit that you have to find the setting fo rthe AC output to always on because if it goes to 0% when you recharge the battery the AC output will stay off. Could be dramatic when hooked up to a sump pump for example.

Yes, if you want the AC to turn itself back on (once the battery has some charge again) you need to go to settings > lab features > AC always on
This works great with solar as well, once the sun comes up and starts providing power, even if the battery died overnight, it will start charging with solar and automatically turn the AC inverter back on 👍

@@SoGenFan thanks! I don't even know why it wouldn't go back up automatically after a full discharge. It could be a big disaster connected to a sump pump for example.

I have Anker power stations and I am using the C1000 as a home office UPS. It always stays at 100% except for once in a while a storm will take out the power. I dont have a power saving option on the app or option to charge it for less than 100%. I guess just uplug it once a week or something?

Yes, I would do exactly that. And check to see if the firmware is up-to-date on the C1000 - perhaps they will add a charge limit option at some point.

if you add a smart plug to the power station.... set a down time to make it use 60% to 70% of the power station ... then you will maximize the life span of the power station....
