The virus itself is really small and when aerosolized (aka exhaled) can fit between the cloth threads, but respiratory droplets containing the virus can be captured and absorbed by most material masks. So good for if your already sick and help in you spreading it, is my understanding.

The virus itself is really small and when aerosolized (aka exhaled) can fit between the cloth threads, but respiratory droplets containing the virus can be captured and absorbed by most material masks. So good for if your already sick and help in you spreading it, is my understanding.
