I heard early on that the general rule of thumb is that if you can't lock onto them, they're a non-hostile NPC, but yeah that's rough I'm so sorry ;-;
For the record that particular sleepy sausage is too tired to actually talk to you. Perhaps if you were to offer some kind of healing item...
I saw a message saying that in the game and tried to heal them with Great Heal but that didn't do anything so I left lol, what are you supposed to give them?
@@Monomiknose It's stupid that it doesn't work tbh, it's a reasonable idea. What they want you to use is a Warming Stone. It's a craftable that you drop on the ground. They specifically want you to use an _item_ for some reason.
@@GODZILLAmonsoon Ah figures, I usually forget they exist this late in the game. Thank you!
I'll never emotionally recover from taking too long to complete Boc's questline. You **ARE** beautiful, you strange little monkey-man!
I still haven't recovered from finishing Bocs storyline
Here's food for thought... if you grant him the Item, he dies. If you reason him instead he stays in service in the capital. And you know what happens there later.
Yep. Im sorry.
ohhh i also didn’t understand wtf the guy next to moore meant when he mentioned foragers, and i would most definitely attack those bugs after our history in caelid.. so THANK YOU!!
My very first playthrough I had to throw away at 7 hours, because I accidentally killed Boc in the demi human cave where he was beat up. I was testing a new Ash of war that I had gotten and it turns out it had a huge AoE and killed him. So I started over.
Try attacking boc later on for some hilarious times
Handy thing to note about Elden Ring, if you can't lock onto it, it's probably friendly
The first one of those I found after talking to Moore I hopped off my horse to start whacking it but briefly glimpsed a talk button before my first swing connected. When it didn't fight back I realized it was an npc. Quitting out and reloading reset it and I was able to talk to it, almost scuffed it.
I did screw up Moore's quest line later anyway on accident but I did get his armor so I'm alright with it haha (chunk boi armor ftw, its my favorite)
Omg I attacked that exact kindred of rot but realized he didn't attack me back, so I felt bad and just let him be. Later, I talked to another one who gave me the cookbook and THEN I realized that Moore was talking about them.
That's sneaky. In a game where 90 percent of things are trying to kill you, or to activate things you have to attack them, of course you're going to smash them up if you don't know what they are.
Roger that, more Moore is good!
You want to Bond with Moore.
Do not Pierce the kindred, got it
No Connery happening with that guy.
character is nice "its like me frfrfrrfr"
I think the only Kindred of Rot that are enemies are red ones.
Yeah I don't recall encountering any hostile ones in the open areas. They're all lurking in rot ruins
Ngl, even knowing the foragers were friendly, it took a lot of self-control to not murder them due to my hatred & disgust with the kindred pests.
FYI you could've just run away from Moore and used one of the 20 celestial dews you likely have lying around at the turtle pope's church .
Accidentally killed the same kindred of rot. Accidentally killed Alexander the Jar Guy. Killed Fia because she was asking for it. My method of doing quests is to just kill the npc and then I don't have to do them.
Oh no… that’s who invaded me?!?
No kill Moore, hes the worse one to fight on that royal rumble
Made the same mistake while looking for enemies to try out my new build
Chuch of vows...
This
You can heal them with warming stones and they will give you stuff
I did the exact same thing, his armor is neat but now I'm missing a cookbook and a friend forever, tragic
Literally the same one that trapped me 😂
I had the same experience minus getting to even meet Moore. As a consolation, the armor and shield are great.
Don't be racist. Got it.
I was being chased by a blood fiend and it killed one.
I went into ng+ bc I felt like it and now I happy
Messages came in clutch when I approached one for the first time. They said he was a friend uwu
Don't feel bad. If Moore attacks you, then that means he's lost the rights to his armor and sheild. Ggs moore, maybe you should learn to communicate better.
Oh hey, you look alike Laura branigan
I have bad news about all of the npcs in the dlc
i reset my whole dlc playthrough because of this 😭
Apparently nobody remembers what celestial dew is for
@@djbeemaapprently you dont know that celestial dew only resets aggro-d npcs and not dead ones lolol
Red ones bad
White ones friends
I did this too and im devistated 😢
....... WHAT
I did the exact same thing lol
👾
Simone out here looking like the biggest snack in the elden ring universe
Those eyes! like jesus christ. I cannot even with you

iwillnotthirstoversimoneiwillnotthirstoversimoneiwillnotthirstoversimone...
I need medical help
Nah, all the Rotters get the Axe.
No sympathy for Rotters.
You saw what they did to Caelid.
You know what they want to do to the world.
Don't let them fool you.
All Rotters get the Axe.
I know this is a game about hitting things, but like, it’s not that hard not to be a psychopath
He remind me to a fat golden cannibal (Smough) the armor
Fire Prelate armor is the most Smough thing in Elden Ring imo
aw
You see a creature curled up, NOT trying to kill you, and you're surprised there are consequences to your actions? General rule of thumb: If something isn't attacking you (especially when you're next to it), then try to lock on, and if you can't, they're friendly.
