Amazing craftsmanship . I'm thinking this guy could take an old beat up car and bring it back to original specifications that would be better than it was when it was knew on the showroom floor . I have poor hearing but i don't really need it watching this show . It does what i want and that's to watch how it's done . To many of you-tube car shows they blab so much directing the attention to themselves i loose interest after just a few episodes . I like it because he does not cover bad body work with a 1/4 inch layer of fiberglass and bondo filler . I plan to go back and catch up on as many of his projects as i can find , Great show .
What was the purpose of the stretched channel you clamped around the edge of the skirt ? You ended up removing it before install. Was it to keep the shape of the skirt edge while welding the tabs with the bolts?

I would be guessing it’s to be used as a drilling template for the wheel arch ?…to get that mighty fine fit🍺👍
