RA Sessions: Sofia Kourtesis

Ninja Tune’s Sofia Kourtesis-a Peruvian producer, DJ and vocalist living in Berlin-joins Resident Advisor’s live Sessions for a moving performance of some of her most distinguishable tracks. “By Your Side,” “Sarita Colonia” and “La Perla” are all taken from her 2021 album Fresia Magdelina. Kourtesis wrote the LP in honour of her late father, who was dying of leukemia as she was putting the collection together. Her Sessions is a poignant rendition of this release, performed in the RA studios with bandmate Tom Stephens.
