Great video! Thanks for putting this all together. Just discovered your channel will be continuing to come back for all the amazing adventures! Really digging the OBW. Seems like a well balanced machine for most moderate off-road and highway
Appreciate the comment! It is definitely a well balanced vehicle that is capable of tackling most terrain and do very well on the highway which is what most "off-road" vehicles can't do efficiently.
@@roamingwithjosh your adventures are inspiring me to do more. We moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina for a big lifestyle change filled with adventures. Awesome channel and Video. I was thinking it looks difficult then I saw you had your baby with you. That gave me inspiration 😊. What tires are you using ? Would stock tires make it without getting torn on those rocks? Some of the trails looks like there are sharp rocks and stones everywhere.
Thanks for the comment! I can't say for sure that the stock tires wouldn't make it because I never tried. I switched to BFG KO2's on my 2022 OBW and I have Nitto Nomad Grapplers on my 2024.

nevermind, lookint at that 'tuck' on rocks I don't think you lifted it. RIght? You could really benefit from the RalliTek rear springs pulling that teardrop!
Awesome video and thanks for sharing! Makes me think about the time I took my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Limited out into the desert outside of Las Vegas...nobody around at all, beautiful scenery with wide open skies and mountain ridges...all while I had satellite radio with Sirius XM, auto climate on 70f, and satellite navigation. What a life! I see were from the same relative area (license plate), never done any wheeling in your state but is there any places you recommend for a good scenic route off road and something a stock Subaru is capable of? Also, subbed!
Those are some REALLY tucked rocksliders. Why did you choose those vs. RalliTek sliders or the like that give you some kick out options? Did you opt for the $500 rear locker? Any aftermarket underbody armor? Seems like it has a 3" lift but I'm not an expert here. I bought the exact one as yours, it appears, very recently. I have a 2022 Power Wagon that' fully trucked out with all Carli King suspension and radius arms running on 37's. It's a completely different experience as I'm sure you know.

It’s much more capable then I would have imagined. I generally say it takes the trails that are boring in a Jeep and makes them really fun/technical. I’m getting 18.7 at the moment, that’s with the boxes on top. If I take those off I’m closer to 20.

Symmetrical AWD requires all wheels be Symmetrical. So pretty sure differential tire pressures puts undue stress on the CVT!
That may be true. Off-roading requires a certain level of risk. If you do want to go off-road, and don't like changing tires, I would air down.
