Massillon has to be the best spot to hear the encore because the stands are very close to the sidelines, making everything sound louder.

I played trombone all the way up through college. I never followed drum corps, but always loved the music. I was watching a Christopher Bill video when I think your Carolina Crown 2017 video came up in my recommendations. Chills my man. Since then I've been through several of your videos. I'm really glad I found you. I've really missed playing and performing, and this helps fill a void for me.

I marched BLOOO in 1993 and that was one of the first years for Pants and Thumbs as warmup and I played with RIB at the end of this and was upfront for the BOXER GO BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Love the Quality videos you make (coming from a videographer myself and a former DCI marcher (99 Crossmen/ 98 Tarheel Sun). Reminds me of my favorite moments of performing which really was the warming up, not even the show.

Okay i know im a dci newbie im going to my first show in atlanta for the southeastern championships, how do i see the corps in the lot do i have to miss part of the show? where do i find out where they warm up?
Yeah if you're planning on watching a lot, be prepared to miss out on a corps or two. It's different for every venue but follow the music haha.

+Liam Watters so I just realized Bluecoats are not at that upcoming Pittsburgh show. But I'd recommend the upcoming Massillon show or even Allentown if you want to catch them. However, the corps at the Pittsburgh show will not fail to impress.

There was a weird thing happening with the audio during the warm up. The right side sounded really muted.
What you're probably hearing is that for most of it, the trumpets were all to my left, and to the right was mainly low brass. But if you listen with good headphones that don't exaggerate the highs, it should sound pretty balanced.
Aaaah that's exactly what it is! Using my Logitech G930 headphone rn haha. Thought maybe you had your hand or something covering part of the mic :)
Haha nope, would never block it with my hand, and if I did, I'd consider the footage destroyed and just go catch them at another show :)
