I seen wolf come out and play alittle with Ed on the 2004 reunion tour but Ed was so messed up it was pretty bad I felt sorry for wolf it was like he was on the tour to help take care of eddie to try to keep him alive. I know people knocked sammy for saying some things he said in the book he wrote but they were true eddie was totally out there and I saw them a couple other tours with Sammy and they were great but the 2004 tour was really hard to watch. Wolf definitely has his dad's genes the dude is talented and at the taylor hawkins tribute I've never heard anyone play a eddie solo that sounded so close to the original usually you can tell it's someone else playing I believe if you had your eyes closed when wolf played Eddie's parts you couldn't tell the difference it was scary
Saw Mammoth live last year here in NE Ohio and they absolutely slayed. Totally changed my perspective on the band. The songs on the album are 5x better live. Wolf put on a killer show.
Val and Ed did a fine job with Wolfgang V.🙌🏿 I met his legendary father thru my cousin whom went to school with Eddie...One of the nicest human beings I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. God Bless (RIP LEGEND) Cheers from Newport Beach, CA. 🤙🏿🌊🙏🏿
On the latest track Goodbye the intro riff has a flange on it but it’s subtle…And because the riff starts by itself and nothing is sonically obscured by anything else it sounds hypnotic and works really well .
Van Halen was the first band I ever saw back in 2012 when I was 13 and for being only in his early twenties back then he was absolutely killing it, still super happy that Wolf is doing great on his own and I know that Eddie is still incredibly proud of the great player that his son has become… keep on rockin’, Wolfie
@@alexcorona interesting take. I would say, in my opinion, from a purely technical standpoint, EVH was miles ahead. But it’s hard to compare greats. They both had something none of us have. They both shaped so much for the instrument. They both are equally as inspirational I’d say.
Yeah like, EVERYONE is interested in his pedalboard plus Metallica has to get him and his band as their front act to boost ticket sales.True legend, true virtuoso
Well… I don’t have much everything evh except the overdrive. LoL oh to be a guitar geek and be that guy. Nothing but delicious gear goodness up in the wolf den. Lol

He must be sponsored by EVH gear talk about being sold out to a brand! just another one of those Van Halen clone dudes!……. I know I know sorry just kidding!
They didn't show the 3 stacks of Bologna that he has piled on his board & calls a pedal. Dude needs to lay off that stuff, it's dripping out his pores 😕

Every interview I've seen with WVH has shown him to be an exceedingly gracious and talented young man. His parents did a great job.
Easy to be humble when you're worth 50 mil
Eddie was the same way and I agree they did a good job raising him , a rarity with today's celebrities children. Children in general for that matter!

Except they overfed him...
Wolf isn’t just the son of a famous rock guitarist. He is a very talented musician and songwriter who can hold his own even without his dad.
He’s actually a much more rounded musician then his pop.
@@james-he7xvwhat does that have to do with anything whatsoever🙄I swear people make some of the most bizarre comments about stuff these days😆🤪

Wolf is a killer musician. Keep on rockin brother. Find yourself and do your thang man.
Crazy how time passes. I saw VH in the 90s. Wolf came out on stage as Ed played 316. He was probably 3 at the time. And here he is his own Man.

wolf is so awesome and humble, he reminds me of his pops.

“Epiphany” is such an awesome song. Production on it is great.

He always seems like the absolute nicest guy in the world in every interview.
Simple. He has mentioned his love for the Afterneath in quite a few interviews.
ThanksWolf for this privilege man I saw u Dad 5 x live will never ever forget those shows or his impact on my guitar trip..

Nice pedalboard, clean and simple, go Wolfie!!
Wolf is a class act.
He sounds so very humble
Very cool. I love my old DD3 pedal.
Humble dude, and that smile reminds me of Eddie.
He is the son of the greatest guitarist ever existed. He has my respect.
He is the the son of Jimmy Hendrix? Just playing! 😂
And an absolute slayer himself. It’s so awesome to see him pick up the family torch and keep rocking it on!
EVH was never on Hendrix level, and I was a huge VanHalen fan.

Just because of who his dad is?
That guitar is so cool to look at! It's a blend of retro and new, all at the same time. Sounds good too!
I agree with you brother, that guitar is beautiful, I loved that design 🎸🔥
Cool! I really need to check out the full rundown, now.
Whoa, he uses a Snark floor tuner.
I have that same one on my board. It's good to know that it is good enough for gigging musicians.
Seeing him with Alter Bridge on St Patrick’s Day in Houston 2023. 🤘🏻🇺🇸
That guitar is so awesome! I want one!
Caries himself very well!
I would like to see Wolfgang in a resumed Van Halen.
They raised a good kid. 👍
Hi Wolf thank you
He has the exact same laugh as his dad
cool setup everything matches =]
Wolfe needs a whammy bar
Wolf seems to be the nicest guy!
Love this board and rundown! 😎
Phase 90 set somewhere between 9:15 and 9:30. 👍
- pm and not am…I think 🤭
Wolf is legit
This was fun, thanks✌️🧡🎵🎶🎵
Awe this is so cool 😎
I think Wolfie should try Line 6 Pod Go in my opinion! Everything on his petal board would be in one thing so it would save a lot of money! 😊
They still are limited because they are all the same circuits, you need dedicated circuitry to get the purest sound
You know the catering is good on that tour for sure. What a legendary family.
How would we know?
Anyone else come here for just guitar related stuff? wtf?
i have been looking for a noise gate, i want a send/return style, wish he mentioned which brand he goes with, does EVH make a noise gate?
A shot of tequila tonight for each Battaaahhhh... Happy new year...
Wolfy seems cool.

Okay now that the ads done bring out the one with the other pedals. Lmao

What's the Pedal Order?

Shout out to Bogarts Cincy!!
Who's "Chip" ?
EVH guitar builder.
Chip Ellis…. Ed’s guitar builder. He built the Red Frankenstrat replica guitar in 2006.

Great. What a revolutionary virtuoso this guy is, I mean his father
Meet Kirk Hammett's replacement lol 😆

Bet he got all those pedals for free smh. Lol
The only pedal he needs is the one that cuts the power to the stage so we can't hear him.
Can we check his lunch box?
Chip off the ol’ block.
Wolfie's signature snack are Totino's Pizza Rolls
Imagine if he wasn't EVH's son though....
No offense to Wolfie, but every tone he made was harsh, atrocious, and awful.

His band should be called NEPOTISM
Sure he got a ton of breaks and continues to get recognized because of his father but Wolf is a VERY talented musician.
Why? Because his father was famous and he's talented?
