Can't say for certain but he was always a little dismissive of her singing career in interviews. He also liked to tell people he taught her how to ride too but she had done show jumping before she ever met him.

If somebody would ask me, I would prefer to live in the country side like this instead of a metro-city as Hong Kong. At least, there are lots of space to go around and the house is much bigger.

Not necessarily, Artemisia. When you ride over rough terrain, a horse can pick up a stone in a hoof that temporarily stings, but in short order he'll be okay. You ride on, and stop if it gets worse, see if the rock got wedged up in there, or maybe the shoe got twisted. 99 times out of 100, all's well and your horse resumes walking normally.

Yes riding a horse hurts the horse, saddles cause their spine injuries in a major way. Because the way their back is formed is not designed to have anything on it. Their muscles do not protect the nerves and vertebrae. Men especially should never ride a horse when the man is over 120 pounds!!!!!

Sorry, but people are not always as they seem. Never met him but she was in Granbury on the square once where my family owned a business. She was extremely rude and arrogant and treated everyone as though they had something contagious. Brought he dog but asked people not to touch him. I used to buy her music, liked some her early stuff but never again. Dont care for her generic pop stuff anyway. Guess she forgot where she came from.

I was shocked to learn that she is married to (soon to be divorced) a rodeo bull rider. A very cruel industry that should be illegal. Yet, I love Jewel's music. Go figure.
Very cruel? Obviously you don't know much about the sport of bull riding... Those animals, whether they be bulls for bull riding, calves or steers for calf roping, team roping and steer wrestling or broncs for saddle bronc and bareback, they are all treated better than you, me, or virtually any other person on Earth! They have people tend to their every need every day... There's a reason that those animals cost thousands upon thousands of dollars a piece. And it's not like they're ever injured, but have you seen what a countless number of bulls have done to the cowboys riding them? Lane Frost for example... He's dead... because of a bull.

Spurs, and bucking straps are very humane, since they enrage animals without inducing heart failure. There are often severe cuts to the animal's abdomen due to the straps, but antibiotics fix that. So, that works. We should use these methods when trying to gain confessions from criminals. No wait, we waterboard humans and use anal prods when all else fails. Same idea.
When a bull or horse has a cardiac arrest during rodeo, I guess that's because they are so excited to be making thousands of dollars in revenue for the rodeo.
