Practice DOES help! If I can do it, you can do it!! No worries! As of right now I have this video up and two others, but I'll definitely try to keep them coming. I LOVE these shows.
I used to do the same thing! It's probably because you're pulling down on the hair as you braid. Try braiding as far down as you can with your hands over your head and then when you switch, flip the braid over your shoulder, but turn your head sideways when you continue the braid - don't pull. Just fold the strands as you normal would. Hope that helps.

How do you braid your hair (when you pull it over your shoulder to finish the bottom) without the back getting wonky and kind of lopsided? every time I pull my braid over to finish it, it keeps pulling to that side
