Your new one looks great! The head sculpt kit bash is genius- it’s the best 1/12 representation of Battinson to-date! I’m gonna try it myself. Thank You.
I like the more pronounced detail on the right figure from the silver highlights and the dynamic cape movement especially when it is posed more dramatically like a flowing in the wind pose but i have to say that overall I think the 2.0 really does look more like the character shown on screen in the movie you did an excellent job!
i always felt like something was off about the macfarlane head sculpt and youre right, its too skinny. i never would have noticed that. i think this is the best one and yes it looks more movie accurate. great work as always.
Just want you to know, your solutions helped me immeasurably! I agree with almost all your takes on the figure, and, even though I chose to not do the bendy head replacement, I think it does look better. I made my own cape, so that also kept me from buying the bendy. However, I think most guys making adjustments to their own figures, should watch and learn from your vids. I did! thanks so much for all your work!
@@pastorpain193 I posted a short vid today, not much compared to your's, but in it I mention your works and how they influenced my custom. Best way to say thanks I guess! If you go see, thanks! Les
Dude you should definitely do a process video for making this Batman. If you can manage the time and resources I know a lot of people would love to know how to make the perfect Pattinson. I ordered the bendy figure and I’m excited to go for it, I just hope I can make that cowl / face combo as perfect as you got it. I don’t know how you kept the nose tip so perfect.
Great 2.0 custom! May I ask, what did you use to remove the bendy's lower face part and it's belt/holster? Tool and technic advice would be immensely appreciated. Thanks!
New subscriber here! Love this batman content and I think it’s so cool how you take these toys us regular Joes can afford and show us avenues on how to get them looking like they’re hundreds!
I tried to sculpt two from scratch by re using a dc uc version of Batman and then tried another one again with a marvel universe hawkeye it had everything to create this version of the batman.
I actually think the bendyfigs one looks better than all of them. The problem with the McFarlane one is you can see the u joints and buttons that make it look like a action figure vs the bendyfigs looks like a statue, it’s seamless. If you did a re paint on the bendyfigs it will blow all the others outta the water.
This is incredible!!! This is the first figure that I'm going to customise and you did such an amazing job. I know you mentioned the eyes in the video but do you have a tutorial anywhere?
@@pastorpain193 yea same I’m going to make mine! What knife do you suggest to cut off the half of the McFarlane head? And once I cut off the head do I just glue it to the other head?
@@kody6170 I used a new exacto knife. Applying heat makes it easier, but it's not totally necessary. But yea just remove the bottom face parts and glue to McFarlane one to the bendy one. Just be sure to paint any cut parts of the bendy head so that no gray comes through.
So did you sand that mcfarlane belt down to replace it or is there a way to get it off? Im new to this might another question or two later if that's ok
Very seldom arms are too long. Maybe Pattinson has short arms like Affleck and that is why you wanted shorter arms on this one. In short long limbs look great.
The ears are too short on your new one. That’s what’s throwing it off. The bat ears on the Pattinsons cowl are very thin and have decent length to them. This one makes him look like a typical “short ear” Batman with short stubby ears. That’s what’s throwing it off.

Matt Reeves did a phenomenal job on the movie and I honestly think he made the best Batman film !

The Version 2.0 is more screen accurate with the wider helmet. You outdid yourself with that custom 👏🏿
Thanks a lot!
The head and cape puts it over, 2.0 for the win 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!!
Great, I like 2.0 version
Thanks!
Te quedó excelente!!!!!

2.0 all the way and also I think you just inspired me to make it for myself
Go for it!
the 2.0 custom version is definitely better, I'd totally buy that one
Thanks, I appreciate it!

Just an exacto knife, bro.
Good job on the new one you nailed it
Thanks a lot!!
damn you really just frankenstein that head together and it came out perfect! it really looks like battinson
Yea I was originally just gonna use the whole bendy fig head, but the bottom part was just too big and wide. Thanks!
The new head makes Battison look more lean, less bulky, which i think is more screen accurate.
2.0 is awesome the head makes a huge difference.
I thought so, also. Thanks!
Your recent is more screen accurate…thanks for the insight

To me Version 2.0 absolutely blows it out of the park, also this movie is truly a masterpiece and might be better than the dark night ?
I love the Dark Knight... But this one squashed it.
I like the 2.0 version.
Thanks!
I just bought a Batman Bendyfig on Amazon to use the cape. That came out awesome looking. Good job 👍🏼
Great work !
Like the 2 versions but I don’t know why I like the first one more

Can i make a suggestion for the 2.0 i think the neck (personally) is too long you might just want to cut very little but other than that its perfect

Seeing these figures put together in one makes me wanna do it too, i wonder how you removed the cape though
On the bendy fig? I wedged a knife into the bottom of the chest plate, popped it off, and just peeled the cape off the slot.
Which fist hands did you use on the newer one? Looks awesome!
Same ones from my first one.

The thing about the bendy fig that makes it less desirable is the lack of articulation. You can't use a static-posed statue for a lot of pics.
The bendy figure Is accurate because the yellow on the boot is on the Batman suit just faded
Could be. I couldn't find anything that showed it.
@@pastorpain193 You can even see it on the Funko pop

I just separated the chest armor from the mold.
This is incredible!!! This is the first figure that I'm going to customise and you did such an amazing job. I know you mentioned the eyes in the video but do you have a tutorial anywhere?
I just printed a bunch of eye sets on paper and used the ones that fit the best.
Thats exactly what i did with the bendy fig
Works great.
How did you take the original Mcfarlane belt off? Also, what did you do to get that matte black finish on the figure? Paint and process?
I just heated it and pulled it off. And I painted with mat black Vallejo paints, then hit it with 3 coats of flat clear finish.
Considering buying that bendyfig for the cape only
It's worth it.

Did you not make the logo chest piece removable??
Phenomenal custom head! I’m going to make one for mine too. Do you have any tips, where to cut the bottom half of mcfarlane?

Just use an exacto knife to cut the belt, then use a hair dryer or warm water to heat the area where the belt is, then just pull the belt off.

How’d you get the bottom of the face on the cowl did you use glue or ?
Yep. Just super glue.
What’s the process for scaling the picture for the eyes? Also do you cut above the face line when you’re cutting the McFarlane head ?
I just print the eyes in multiple sizes on one sheet of paper to see what size works best. And I cut right along the mask line.
Nice!!!!
Thanks!
did u use any type of primer before applying the silver wash?
No, I don't find it necessary.
Did you have to cut the head off of the bendy one?
Yes. I cut it off with an exacto knife, hollowed the neck out, and adjusted it.
I gotta look for tht bendy figure jst for his cape..lol..

bro HOW did you get the holster on the side of this leg, how!
Heat and an exacto knife.

How did u cut the bottom face part off the mcfarlane figure without damaging the nose?
