in reference to the strap not having a loop to tuck it into...just an idea but you can use a red hair tie, unbuckle the bag and put it on one end and slip the piece of strap through the hair tie and it will hold down the strap.

I have that exact bag in the same color and the part of the strap that hangs annoys me so much as well. Still love this bag!
