Do you like the jackplate? How much skinnier can you get with it? I keep seeing people online saying it actually doesn’t help that much on the LT10, just wondering what you think. Can a manual jackplate do the same thing?
The electric plate on here was great, though a cmc trim and tilt unit is better if I had to decide between the two. You can just mount the cmc up higher so it lifts the motor as a fixed position jackplate. On smaller motors it definitely helps to have a good prop and the motor higher up, though you can get away with a manual one just fine. Thats why trim and tilt is best, you can adjust it on the go and you can mount it high so it gives you the lift of a fixed jackplate, because once you get a manual jackplate set you usually don't have to adjust them much. So just making sure the engine is at a good high height before drilling the cmc is all you need. I hope this helps. People who are saying the jackplate doesnt do anything don't know what they're talking about!.
Im getting a gheenoe! Btw, just a suggestion , always keep you push pole fork on the bow.
Cake is very fitting for this
Nice! Those things are fun here in Jax!
I’ll by it that spot we’re you shot that video is right near my house in that canow in Jacksonville near the Jax beach boat ramp
im doing 30mph with a 20hp on a 15'4'' stock with jackplate
I live in Jackson too I’ve put a 9.8 2 stroke on mine
How fast with a 9.8? I’m looking at putting a 9.9 on an lt 10. I heard the 15 4 high riser would go around 24.

Have you ever fished 2 people on one of these? debating between this or the LT25
If you can swing it, the lt25 is definitely a more comfortable boat.
How fast that run getting one in 8weeks don’t know if I should get 2 stroke 25 for speed or get a 20 4 stroke for quieter and more gas efficient
runs about 32mph
What’s the weight on that Yamaha I’m thinking getting a 2021 25hp for my lt10
How long is your tiller extension?
James Ward it was a cheap one that was cut down. Probably about 15”
