    Love your videos! I really liked these boats when stationed in Florida. Then when I moved back up to NE Ohio I invested in a fleet of freighter canoes which are the same....great cargo carriers for skinny water using small outboard. But I couldn't educate the regional folks and the business failed. This is a niche market for sure. But once you own one you see the advantages. Thanks for sharing!

    Do you know how to judge water depth by the color of the water ?....As water lightens up it's getting shallow. The darker water is deeper. Sand shoals can be fairly accurately judged by the shape of the stream.

    • @OverlandFlorida
      @OverlandFlorida  4 роки тому

      I do know how. With the rain we have been having the water is dark with tanic acid so it can be tricky.

    As a former member of the Coast Guard and a lifetime boater that practices safety underway on boats large and small, I would like to suggest that when you guys are running this boat, please wear those low profile auto inflatable PFDs. Keeping your PFDs in a compartment really does no good in protecting your lives in case you go overboard.
