That fairtex model of shinpad is called the SP-3. I have that pair and prefer them for all the reasons you mentioned. Low profile and high mobility - great! Awesome review man!
It's really hard to tell, but I think i should have gone 1 size larger. The only reason I didn't is because i have chicken legs, so I was afraid that a large would slide too much even with the buckles. If you have thicker calves, you might need to size up.
Look for bigger size. I have this im wearing M. The S size was too small for me. Btw im a small asian guy 5’5, 62kg. It might even be 2 sizes up for alot of ppl tbh.
they def look great. Fairtex gloves along with the pads. Also. The brand always remind me of street fighter

Thanks very much Zane! Glad you like them!
You can use the fairtex shin guards for thaiboxing too. The less padding the better for shin conditioning.
Great info, thanks!
No problem glad it helped!

@emirtaufiq I ended up going with the SP5's I like them a lot better.
Best shin pads for muay thai and mma you can spar pretty hard and not hurt your partners with leg kicks or body kicks
We've had nothing but great feedback from these shin guards! Think they are our best seller!
