Michael Anthonys harmonies always spot on , pitch wise I mean.
For me those backing vocals were an integral part of the VH sound, moreso than EV's guitar playing or Dave or Sammy's singing. It's a real shame that the brothers never seemed to get that Anthony was the sonic glue.
Jason is such a great player he is original yet he embodies his dads style and keeps his legacy and style alive and would make him proud. And everybody no matter what you do wants to make your dad proud and honor him and Jason is the bonzo of my generation!!!!

Plus mr. John Henry Bonham did not have a double kick pedal....he used a Ludwig Speedking single kick pedal......that makes it even harder.... if you listen to" Baby since I've been Loving You"..You can even hear the speed King kick pedal squeak as they were known to do

What I love ❤️ is that rock n roll never age. Sammy is 70 now and still kicks ass with or without Van Halen. I miss him and Van Halen together. Michael on bass as well. But Sammy is still the Red Rocker Jack!!! Age ain’t nothing but a number that should be a song they should record (The Circle).

DLR definitely was a huge part of VH and contributed to their success in a big way. But He started getting all "jazz hands" and doing squirrely shit instead of real Rock n Roll. (remember "Just a Gigalo"?) yuk...Hagar took VH into the next decade. Its subjective. Personally, I thought DLR with all his hip wiggling, spandex and goofy antics was kinda gay. Sammy brought loads of versatility and into to the mix.

Y’all need to come to Tennessee in the Nashville area to come play, I have been a fan of you and mike anothany, May have mis spelled his name but have been a fan since I was like 9 or 10 years old, seen old videos when y’all were with Van Halen and it was awesome with all the music that was put out. I have 4 copies of cds when y’all was with them. The copies that I have are balance, ou812, for unlawful carnal knowledge and 5150. Y’all made that band for what it was man, I just wished that both Eddie and Alex would have gotten along with you Mikey but the circle that your involved with is very good and that music is fanommable of all generations of music that you have ever done. Didn't really enjoy the Led Zeppelin. Really cool Jason is playing with them but he's only there cause who is dad was. Shoulda played more VH stuff instead of so much Zeppelin. Alex's drum parts were more challenging and fun in my opinion. Still, great band!
