Same here and first day itself, dashcam saved me Rs 1000 fine. I crossed in green but traffic constable stopped me for red light violation. I showed him footage and he was very distrubed :)

I literally get feared every time I hear the Royal Enfield's bullet behind my bike. Reason, very high chances of the brain being empty of the bullet rider. Now the same goes with Thar, Old scorpio, old safari, Fortuner owner. For them we are like untouchables.

Even the plug and play dashcam is illegal as per Volkswagen(no wire tampering done), when I left my Virtus for 1st annual service they made a report with pictures stating non genuine part fitment(dash cam is powered with cigrette port) and warned to send that report to Volkswagen to void my warranty.
Anyone here please suggest how to tackle this issue.
This is a mirror dashcam, I removed the display and left the plug and play wires as rear dashcam is stuck with 3m tape.
I think Volkswagen does things after 2.0 project started to blackmail customers or it's an excuse not to fix defects in the car.
Currently my car is in the service centre for over 10 days now with multiple issues which they are struggling to identify, isolate and fix for over a year now.
Tell everyone not to buy cars of that group!
