In my experience microsleeps are more dangerous than falling into sleeps. You can realize when you are falling into sleep and prevent and stop driving. But, microsleeps are those few seconds when you unknowingly close your eyes and fall asleep for few seconds, and don't even realize how long you were out, This is scary, I had this experience once, after a very tiring long day. Handed over the driving to someone else. My request to everyone, anytime you feel sleepy, you either stop driving if possible, hand over to someone else...or if you don't have anyone to handover to or you can't stop in the middle of nowhere...then just stop driving for few minutes, do some hard physical and mental exercise...and then drive to the nearest safe place and go to sleep.
cant agree more with you. I was fully tired and also had few drinks in afternoon, thought that 50 kms is not a big deal but did not know when i went into micro sleep, i was so scared when i wake up. never ever i did tiring/drink and drive even if it costs me hiring a driver everytime
Thank you so much for bringing this up, as most people aren't even aware of what microsleep is even though they might have experienced it at times.
It happened to me as well till date I am scared of micro sleep and take regular breaks after each 150 to 200 km
Very well explained, there is very thin line difference between I can and I may, which should not be ignored during night drive..

ADAS emergency breaking and lane control would help in these situations. Yes, avoid night drives if you are not experienced with night shifts, etc. Few energy drinks with 30% caffeine can help to some extent even for day driving. Drive safe, have fun.😊

On Pune Solapur, Kia Seltos with L2 ADAS applied emergency breaking because one robber was standing in middle of road and this allow robbers to attack on car and passengers. Luckily, all are safe. Now, judge benefit of ADAS.

You should take rest and if not you should drink some coffee and maintain around 100 to 90 on expressways and i have seen people on expressway that opened their door while moving on 100kmh and one small mistake could have made them fall

6:27 Must have another driver with you while driving at late night or pre decide small intervals through your journey. Keep some candies or toffees with you to chew while driving. These tricks help alot while late journey's.
or play music, take short breaks. Prefer not to drive at night. You could be driving sane but another drowsy driver may knock you off.

The reason for baleno with no big mis-hap is because there is a door which saved and the car crashed with the rear wheels. If the car crashed in the middle the owner couldn't have said the tale to learner's as us.
