Hello Great videos as usual. What will be great if you can use Ceiling speakers for the high sounds instead of the arc trying to replicate. Is it a option?. I got arc/ sub/ and one gen 2
Your videos are fantastic. I purchased a home thst already has 5 ceiling speakers. Front l and r and c and two rear l and r. They’re all wired and wires and hdmi cable go into cabinet previous owner left. I would just need to buy a receiver. Woukd you recommend buying a receiver and use with existing ceiling speakers for music and tv or getting a Soundbar? Thanks!
Request kindly please share the link for the In-Ceiling Speaker Switch the one you have mentioned in this video is it possible to purchase in India or do we have some other option than that, looking forward to your reply.
Hi there, we'd normally recommend to space the speakers out at least 2 metres apart for a good stereo separation effect. Otherwise, if you think they won't be able to be positioned at least 2 metres apart, I'd recommend using a single stereo speaker which has a left and right channel built in. Sonos don't do one of these but the Sonance C6R SST would be a good option.
Hi there, you'll be able to use either Sonos Ones or ceiling speakers as surrounds but you can't use both in the same set up. They may update this in the future but 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos is the maximum set up at the moment. Hope this helps!
Yes you can use the in-ceiling speakers as rear surrounds to the Arc (as long as you power the in-ceiling speakers with the Sonos Amp). Hope this helps!
If I was to buy the sonos amp.. what's the best value in ceiling speakers to use as rears? I have an arc and I was going to use 2x sl's as rears... and I still might just purely for budget reasons.. but ceiling speakers would be the ideal solution
Hi Gerard, Even something like the Monitor Audio C165s for £125 each would be more than sufficient for surround speakers. These are entry level speakers but surrounds do not need to use high-end speakers as the sound that passes through is fairly ambient anyway. Hope that helps!
Excellent presentation skills sir, well done! 👏👏🎬
Yeah agree.. I got four Wisdom Audio ICS7A as rears and atmos. They are great
What are the benefits of two front Height speakers and two rear ceiling speakers. Is that a thing
