Wow wow 👌 thanks for going to Sierra Leone you did it well what a mouth watering recipe 😋 😍 wish I was closer to you 😀 greetings to your friend thanks.
This is totally new to me, never even heard of it. I guess I’ll like it since I like ogbono soup. I must have smoked fish in mine too! 😋😋… thanks for sharing Dada Mama Hannah
Fab cooking experience with Tola, Nigeria version of Ogbono. Well, it looks appetizing, and delicious but i would prefer to taste it with pounded yam. Do you use tomato puree in your cooking to enhance tge flavour, and rich vitamin C? Enjoy and thanks for sharing. Bless you
Ohh Dada!!! Why am I seeing this so early this morning? I loooove Tola, makes me want to prepare some right now. Will try your way of cooking tola. Thanks so much.❤🇸🇱
No ma it is not a herb nor vegetable it is a fruit it's called Irvingia gabonensis or African (bush) wild mango in English (in Nigeria they called it ogbono )
@@DadasFoodCraveKitchen You're right. Ogbono is different. It a bit stronger in taste and smell than tola. Tola is certainly much milder. I think they are prepared the same way though, easily soluble in palmoil.
Maybe you associated a lot with Krios.I myself only learnt to cook it when I got married. I know it's a vegetable, dried and made into a powder. I've never seen the fresh vegetable but I think it's a bit like Nigerian 'Ogbono.'

Tola has a unique taste. I wonder how Sierra Leoneans discovered this nut. Anyone knows how the tree looks like?
Dada is tola dry okra powder?
No it's not but i think it's similar to ogbono.

Cray fish and shrimp powder are two different things.
