I can't imagine the emotions that went through Evernham when he bought that 24, let alone see his welds still being there.
Love the history , told by one of the best crew chief ever ! Thanks for taking the time , I look forward to more
I would love to spend the day with Ray just to hear the stories and get insight on how one of the brightest crew chiefs ever in Nascar became a champion.
Great video with Mr. Evernham. Thanks so much to him and everyone who produced this.
Got to see Booker at Pocono this year. I didn’t even realize it was the car from this video until now. What a sight to see
Wow that car looks so cool
Great video again I am loving every video on this channel so keep them coming.
*Great Collection of Cars! #75*
Very nice garage.
Heck yea nascar love these kinds of videos. Keep them coming!
Beautiful race cars.👍🏻
Don't sell yourself short...you may not be Jeff Gordon, but I've seen you drive at the Classic 24@Daytone (AWESOME 'Vette, by the way), and you're a pretty good wheelman yourself. As a long time crew chief myself, at the short track/regional touring series level, I know what you mean. It's a special feeling watching something YOU built go out there and wax the field. Keep it up, man. Big Iron Garage is AWESOME!!!
I’ve met ray before and he’s honestly the coolest dude out there 💯
This is only a SMALL portion of Ray’s collection and what they do at his garage. If you look hard on UA-cam you can find plenty more videos, he’s doing really cool things over there
Awesome wing car!
The Best Crew Chief of his Time
Yes
@@smoke14fan23 hell Zipadelli is among Them too He and Stewart were a RAW TALENTED Driver/Chief Duo in The 2011 Chase
@@DupontandLowesWarrior they were crap during the regular season but kudos to them for playing the game to their advantage
I was kind of hoping for more of a car collection. Nevertheless keep these kind of videos coming.
More younger drivers too
Dude do a little research, there are a number of videos on UA-cam of Ray’s garage and cars in his collection
@@brandonenglund7516 I follow a lot of car UA-camrs but I'm always interested to know about some more. Who is this person that you're talking about?
I was really just talking directly to NASCAR because they're trying to reach out and capture people's attention during this off-season with new little videos like this. I think it's working
@@SeniorWhoopyIRL Ray Evernham, the man in the video. He also has an Instagram page and shares a lot of his collection and progress of racecar restorations, if you’re looking for more of the old NASCAR stuff. Big Iron Garage I think is what his shop is called, think Americarna was another one.
@@brandonenglund7516 I feel dumb, okay I'll have to look that up. I didn't even remember what video this comment was from exactly. The way UA-cam puts up replies to comments is kind of weird and I'm just getting used to it as I've been using it a lot lately. Anyways take it easy man
Looks beautiful
Chrysler got away with venting the fenders on the Daytona because they told NASCAR it was clearance for the shocks lol
I'd love to know more about what made a superspeedway car a superspeedway car back in the day!
Nice cars
Didn't the vents on the front fenders also serve to give clearance to the front tire at speed?
Thanks
Cant wait to see the New Series,...,SRX
i like these please make more NASCAR
cars that go from generation to generation
Ray Everham isn't aging for as old as he is
I would love to visit a garage
Anyone know if there are any videos of the cars for the new series Ray & Stewart are starting? Info on the series seems limited
Some people don't understand even tho it's old it's still a 200 mph car 😂
Where can someone get a set of racing spindles for a mid 80s gm car to run on the streets with brakes calibers and 4.5 inches bolt pattern?
Chevrolet performance or Jegs racing
There's no Jeff Gordon without Ray E it wouldn't have happened and no change would be made some people are made to drive and others are made to lead and teach that is what makes a decent coach and coach's are the real GOATS and true goats teach and do at the same time
yee yee now if this ain't all American idk what is
I want to see Martin Truex Jr's collection next
Agree
Richard Petty wins for the most authentic super bird I am pretty sure it's his actual car that was raced in his museum race track ready still.
I see the exhaust coming out of the drivers side, when did they switch to the passenger side?
Not sure exactly when, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was around 2000-2003, when Rick Mast became the first driver to retire specifically due to long-term carbon-monoxide poisoning. Finally highlighted the seriousness of the issue. ?v=LXx8naKtoW8

Just checked, the only changed the exhaust layout in the switch to the CoT, according to Wikipedia.
Wow
Damn where do I send my resume hahaha
Are there any “loose knots” in that garage ?
?
What a lame attempt at a joke
👍
Why do they have all the cars on jack stands?
Can you show the Richie Evans car that he sold to Jimmy Spencer.
Ya
Bet u do
